Great game!

First of all, The graphics are absolutely amazing, the detail of the thrust from behind both yours and the huge enemy spaceships are very nice! The pretty, colorful laser beams that you shoot (and get shot at you) are great, especially since there is such a wide variety of weapons to choose from, even the bonus weapons are great!

The audio concepts are very indulging as you hear explosions and the jolt of lasers as they emit from your huge cannons, and the music is very mood-setting as well!

As for the visual part, the detailed flowing space gas that floats below you really brightens up space! The shapes and dynamic designs of the enemies crafts (and your own) are astounding, the finely crafted explosions that come about when you blow up your enemies. and the deeeeeeeeply satisfying KABOOM, BOOM KRASK KRACKASLAM of when you obliterate an enemy ship twice as big as your own, really gives you the sense of achievement that, you utterly beat the holy heck out of your alien enemies, and you are rewarded with their bosses sweet juicy satisfying demise, as they explode immensely, man that level was well worth it you think to yourself.

As for gameplay the ship is very sturdy and has great handling, not too sensitive so that when you move the mouse you fly across the screen, and not too slow as in you have to drag your mouse half way across the room to move your ship one centimeter. The weapons are very juicy tools for anihilating your extra-terrestrial adversaries. Whether it is giant alpha beams that buzz across the screen to top mounted cannons that shoot for you!

Overall this game is really worth downloading and dare I say it, paying for! So people, try it out for yourself!

Unearthly :(

The game as my review title suggests, is not for me. repetitive game scenarios and worthless weapons make this game enter my top 10 of Worst games for Earthlings.

Half an hour(that was bcoz I was expecting atleast some changes down the line) of gameplay and I had completely lost interest. Give it a sure miss.

Graphics 4/5
The graphics are pretty cool, which was another reason for me to play for the half hour.

Sound 2/5
Some old action shooter sounds. Tends to get boring as usual.

Gameplay 1/5
Nothing new and as I said very repetitive.

Overall 2/5
Can't say didn't like it, but definitely not worth buying.

Depends on how you like em'

This is definitely a shoot'em' up, no doubt about it. Original? Somewhat. But I played the game on Medium and I found it very difficult for me to actually die, as you're constantly rewarded with power-ups and shields. This is not for the hardcore.

This is a game for the casual gamers. Schmuppers will find that this game plays more like a constant "bonus stage". If you have a little nephew that can only feel good about himself when he's constantly winning, throw this game at him. You've got a super laser that is constantly recharging, and you wipe out hordes of aliens and asteroid fields. I found it satisfying, not challenging.

The boss battles feel more like a formality than a test of skill. I felt more like I was lighting a wick on a huge firecracker before makiing my exit. There's not much science to it, the bosses have no set movement, are too big, and have no real bullet patterns either. At least they're there!

I decided to snap out of the game and try it in insane mode to see what it had to offer: less powerups, enemies take more hits, and more firepower headed your way. The thing is that in this casual gaming world, a lot of shoot'em'ups are played with the mouse, and dodging the bullets becomes more of an interface problem than anything else, especially given the size of your ship.

...but I liked it.
