My favourite!

This game is my favourite. I like the puzzle at the end of each level. THe puzzles can be a "find-a-match" or find hidden word, or just tile puzzle. After Ravenhearst and Huntsville, the find hidden object is getting too easy, and a bit boring, but the level puzzle is what makes this game different and fresh.

MCF: Prime Suspects

The developers of MCF: Huntsville have followed up that very enjoyable game with MCF: Prime Suspects. It is a very worthy sequel.

The storyline here, is that you are trying to track down a diamond thief. There are 20 suspects, and you have to whittle the list down, by determining who is innocent and who doesn't have a good alibi.

The gameplay remains the same: an on screen scavenger hunt. In this sequel, you have appoximately 30 new places to search and 20 suspects, as you try to determine who the diamond thief is.

New twists have been added to refresh the gameplay. You will need to find batteries, while searching areas, to power various sleuthing equipment, that will enable you to search a certain area of the map.

Also, instead of just having a slider puzzle, to identify the suspects, a match game and a word find game have been added to allow for variety.

The artists have again done a fantastic job of hiding everyday objects, within the pictures, allowing for a great deal of replay value, just like MCF: Huntsville.

In short, if you liked MCF:Huntsville, you will enjoy this game! Definitely a four star recommendation! (Downgraded to four stars because of extremely obscure final puzzle. Wonder where they dug that thing up from, a torture chamber? It definitely taints an otherwise five star game!))

Here is the Blue Star Solution for the end of the game.

  • Don't read this unless you want the solution *

Place the first blue stone anywhere and slide it across the star. Then place the 2nd blue stone in the opposite corner of where the first blue stone was placed, so it can slide into the place where the first blue stone started. Then place the 3rd blue stone in the opposite corner of where the 2nd blue stone started, so it can slide into place where the 2nd blue stone started. Then place the 4th blue stone in the opposite corner of where the 3rd blue stone started.....and slide it into the place where the 3rd blue stone started...and so on until all the blue stones are placed and slid....then...the box is opened.

Don't waste your time looking for the last clue in a location. You can always come back later. Move on to the locations that have the most clues still available so you have a better chance of finding one. Then, once you get down to locations with only one or two clues left, you can use your hints to uncover your Prime Suspect!

You can click everywhere to find hidden objects. Just try not to be too fast in order not to be penalized by time. You should try to set a correct speed of your clicking to cheat the computer otherwise time will be spent in vain.
