Learn to beat 'em at their own game!
In this Texas Hold 'Em game, the goal is to buy every building in each city with your winnings until you've bought-up the whole state and become Govenor. Of course, after doing all that, you have to beat the current Govenor in a one on one match! That's a nailbiter for sure! After you've won a city, you also need to play the best card player in town to win transportation to the next city...you can't just walk there! Those one on one battles are a challenge too. You can select at the beginning your skill level, from "novice" to "expert". I played on novice, and it still took a long time to win the whole state. The characters make the game, you will learn over time who the "bluffers" are and the ones who really do have good hands are. The animations of the characters and their "wise remarks" during the game make it that much more enjoyable ("Gimme the chips!"). Some of the old ladies really know how to rile a guy and run-up the pot with their pure bluffs! The game's worth the money, and I found it to be even more fun than the Superstars of Poker. These animated players are much more fun and funny. Oh, and it will really be a tough game if you choose to be "expert", as they will stay in the game and won't constantly run themselves out. Great card game that's alot of fun to play. Also, there are cash games to be played in every city besides the standard tournaments, which allow you to pick up some extra much-needed cash--if you can win! |

Have some fun at the beach!
I live on the Florida coast because I love the beach so much, so naturally this game caught my eye. It's really alot of fun. It's time management for sure, but the tasks are all fun to do. And everyday is sunny on this beach! You are in a competition to do better than a guy who is a jerk and your girlfriend's rival. You try to do better than him by selling items and making the beachgoers happy with food, drink, umbrellas to shade them, and even in the upper levels you get an amusement ride to sell tickets to. The banna boat ride and the disco with it's music are alot of fun too. And it's quite entertaining just to watch the swimmers! One guy brings binoculars...lol. The part I liked the most was that you are able to complete each level and move on. You never get stuck or have to replay a level. If you're really fast with your fingers, you'll make extra "stars" for your upgrades. If you're a slower player like me, you'll still finish, all you have to do is complete the goals, I just get less stars to buy upgrades. The music is great (and the disco tunes are too), the graphics couldn't be better, and most of all, it's alot of fun to play! I don't think anyone could be un-happy with this game. At least be sure to try the demo, and remember, there's lots more to sell and more attractions that come along after 60 minutes! |

Beautifull graphics, relaxing play
I bought this game as soon as my trial time ended, it went by very fast. How nice it is to relax and enjoy great graphics, interesting characters that talk to you, and control the actions of the main person in the game. It was nice seeing the scarecrow, lion, & tinman again after all these years. After some of the break-neck speedy games I've played, and 'race against the timer to survive' type games, I find this game a great way to just sit back and relax and let the game entertain me! I also like the fact that I won't finish this game in a sitting or 2, I can see this is going to take awhile, and that's just fine with me. I can enjoy this one for a long time. High quality & well done...and not too difficult that you get stuck and can't finish. |

A very pleasant game in every way
Yep, another Match 3, but this one is different. It's almost as if the game was designed to have the pieces fall into place, the chains get broken easily and you can get through each level without getting stuck. I'm on level 27, the wife is on level 80, and we haven't had to replay any level yet. The music is soothing and the graphics are great. It's alot of fun creating your own tanks, 3 of them, you just keep making them better & better with the money you win after each level. It's really cool to have your favorite aquarium be your screensaver if you want, but make sure you mute your sound, or you will be jolted by the music when the screensaver kicks in. A very pleasing, relaxing, fun game to play. It's well worth the $20. |

Battleship
Finally! The PERFECT Battleship game that I've waited years for! Great sound and graphics. Jump right in and start playing in Battleship mode. In the "2nd game", Fleet Command, you get a more complex game, but the tutorial leads you thru it quite easily and you're in business quickly. I like having "2 games in 1". For a quick laid-back game, I play Battleship. If I want to put the thinking cap on and use torpedo nets, move my ships after they've been hit, and more, then I play Fleet Command. For anyone who has ever loved Battleship since they were a kid, this is the perfect game. My highest rating! |
