Great game!
This is a great game, marrying the best aspects of Diner Dash style games with Match 3 games.
The basic idea is to match the burger ingredients, but to the formula required by the customer - e.g. if the customer wants a cheeseburger, you must match 3 slices of cheese, 3 burgers, 3 ketchup. Once you move up through the levels and buy more interesting recipes, the game becomes more challenging, and there's strategy involved in working out what to buy.
It's challenging enough to keep you busy for a few days until you play through to the story end, but it's also got good replayability as well. Definitely to my taste ;o) |

A great classic game
This is a great game. I have owned this for years and still enjoy playing it today.
If you have ever been a fan of logic-type puzzles... the type that come in puzzle books with clues like "Henry sits next to the girl who wears a blue sweater" then you'll grasp the concept of this immediately.
The gameplay doesn't really evolve except to add difficulty and more options to the mix as you move up the levels. It definitely becomes very challenging as you go on.
Great for keeping your brain exercised! |

I'm obviously not cut out for hotel management
Dull, dull, dull.
I really can't explain how disappointed I am in this game. Such a promising premise - you'd have thought that hotel management would be a great idea for a click-management or diner-style game. But no.
Part of the problem is the poor English translation. Part of it is the cheesy music. But most of it is just the gameplay.
"Customers like to watch TV. When they want it, switch it on!" - I just felt like yelling "Push the button yourself, lazy customer!" Ditto taking a phone to their room, or a coffee. What hotel built in the last 50 years doesn't have drinks-making facilities, or a phone in every room?
Another huge flaw was the chambermaid actions. Every time a customer wants their room cleaned - which seems to happen disturbingly often - you have to call the maid to do it. Unfortunately the maid is also responsible for dry cleaning, watering plants, and goodness knows what else (I gave up before getting that far) so the customers are getting angry because she's still watering plants and has 3 rooms to vacuum before she can pick up Mr Messy's cleaning...
This could have been so much better. What a shame. |

I was bored long before the demo expired
Finished the first two shops in about 40 minutes and then died of boredom. Once you've got the hang of gameplay, it becomes very repetitive.
The mini games are pretty good. I enjoyed them more than the main game! |

Beautiful graphics and challenging puzzles
This is a must-have. The scenery is beautifully rendered and the puzzles are intriguing and challenging with very few levels having the same type of puzzle. It keeps you on your toes the whole way through.
In the early levels you get the sparkling hints to help you finding objects or work out what to do, but these get more scarce as you go on and in the later levels you don't get any at all.
A sweet storyline as well. Highly recommended. |
