I remember this
I remember this game. Avernum is remix of very old though very playable game named "Exiles"
It was very good game then.
No doubt Avernum lacks eye-candy, and there's no music at all (play your winamp instead, suits me well) BUT there is gameplay that matters.
Modern gamers forget that gameplay is most important.
This game is totally old-school. Made for those who played in RPG before Morrowind, NWN and etc. |

Jewels to scavenge!
I liked it.
Easy and original controls (for this type of games) + vast variety of difficulties.
From easy and relaxing "travel and collect" to challenging "fight for yout life"
Main task is to collect all energy orbs on level and get them to exit point. Levels very different. Sometimes it's dark because of destroyed power generator. Sometimes you begin level near exit point but must get orbs to leave.
Bonuses and secret chambers included.
One thing is confusing - jewels in space? I had enough of it already in logic games ^_^ |
