Not for action gamers...

Lucy Q can be somewhat considered a seek& find game, altough here you have to find little pieces of a picture, instead of different items in a fully stacked room. But it doesn't make your work easier. The pictures start out fairly easy, but become really difficult later, and on those levels, where you have to Beat The Clock, time can be of the essence (you don't have much per level). The later difficulties (sraps os paper, broken glass) can also give you a hard time. But you only have to do this one and only thing in the game - find little pieces of a picture. No minigames or anything like that. That's why I say, it's not for those, who like their games fast-paced. The only plus is the comic-like backstory, which is although can be called a little childish, but I think, it's quite cute, I really liked it. ^^
The game requires patience, and lots of it. For those, who can beat every single level for the first time, I congratulate - it's really not easy. But overall, I would recommend it for those, who have plenty of patience, and like the seek&hide genre.

Puzzle for the family

This has got to be one of the best puzzle games I have played so far. At first the cartoon-like graphics got me, and I thought, that it's a somewhat easy, but at least a really cute game. Then I realized after just 50% of the regular levels, that it needs much more thinking, than it seemed first. The level sets are clever, the game is mixing the real hard ones with some relaxing easier ones, even in one level set. The Kids' levels are of course fairly easy, but I bet that some of them will make even them thinking about "what should I do here?". I *really* recommend this one, for the whole family. Nice graphics and brain-twisting gameplay, what else could be needed? :)

What it says... a "Charming" Tale

If I had to describe this game in a single sentence, I would say, that this is the most beautiful inlay-type game, I have ever played. Yes, even compared to Mosaic: Tomb of Mystery. The graphics are astounding, every level is a detailed fairy-tale creature or object, which really "charmes" the player to solve another one, after finishing the current. There's also a good-written backstory, which is again like if the player has been dropped into a fairy tale: s/he is a traveller, who has to use magical crystals, to remove a mysterious curse from everyone on the land, with the help of different characters.
The gameplay itself is like every other inlay-game, you have to use differently shaped crystals to fill in an object. On later levels, you have to remove certain tiles twice or even three times, which makes the levels more difficult and longer, but still not more boring, rather more challenging. And to make it a bit more complex, different bonuses (time stop, remove pieces, change pieces into the tiniest one) help you along the way, and they can even be upgraded. The only downside I can think of, is that every level has the same set of shape-types, so you won't find the different sets here, like in many other games. But somehow it still doesn't become boring.
The game is not too short, but not too long either. It stops right before the levels would become repetitive or lacking creativity.
The music is like what you could imagine for a magical/fabulous game, and its not repetitive, so I would say, that it's just perfect for the game.
Overall... if you liked Mosaic, or you're a fan of these kind of shape-placing games, I would definitely recommend Charm Tale to you. And if you're not, than I would recommend you to try it, the game's atmosphere will more than likely carry you with it.

Relaxing and charming

I found this game quite special... it has a very simple gameplay, yet I found myself feeling the old "just one more level"-feeling again. The goal is always simple, build a network of "pipelines" without an open ending anywhere on the board. It reminds me of the game Plummit, only this time you can move the pieces anywhere, you don't have a strict time limit, and you can always discard the unnecessary pieces. Sounds simple? It is. But it's lots of fun, really. The special pieces, the color bonuses and the other, "field"-bonuses guarantee that the gameplay is never monotonous or repetitive. And I have to mention that the graphics are beautiful, especially how Runic reacts to the different bonuses.
The game has a storyline in it, altough it's not really connencted to the gameplay itself, but it is charming: Runic is writing blog-like messages, and different animals comment them according to their personalities. Personally, I liked this part too.
The music is nice, not too repetitive and quite relaxing. Perfect for this game.
Overall, I would say, that this game is for children, but adults can have fun with it too. It's good for relaxation: simple, but not simple enough to just click arond. You have to use your brain, but nothing is making you to rush. Perfect after a long, but not mentally exhausting day.

A truly GOLDen game...

At first, it looked like the old Jets 'N' Guns re-released, but after 5 minutes, I realized, it is much, much more. The new briefing screen, the several shiptypes, the new weapons, higher resolution... it's almost a completely new game. The several gameplay additions make it look like a sequel, not just a plain addon. And I'm still trying to find all those secret items, and hope that there is a mega-secret, if all of them are collected, despite what the game says... ^^ I really recommend it to al those JnG-fans, and everyone else, who likes shoot'em'ups, but haven't met this litle jewel.
