Tasty Little Game ;)

I'll start by saying I'm not a big fan of the Dash style games, they can get way too frantic, making the gameplay, well.. just no fun.. but this game was a nice change.

I once said "Bring on All the Seek and Find Games you can!".. but be careful what you wish for, as like the match 3's, the market soon became flooded with them, to the point where I got rid of most of them.. NOT to trash the S & F/Dash games, I still play them, they are very well done, but just repeats of previous games of the same type.

Go-Go Gourmet is a little of both Dash, and Seek and Find, but a refreshing change.. it was actually "fun".. a unique twist to both genre's.. and a pleasant way to kill time.

Don't expect "Cooking Mama", you are in a kitchen, with a list of ingredients, and clients coming thick and fast, but not to the point where you want to punch your monitor ;)
The ingredients grow to a staggering amount as you progress, and are in random places in each kitchen, making it a decent challenge.

Give this one a go, it's got something that's been lacking in these types of games lately.. Change! :)

Fairy Godmother Tycoon: Warning: Addiction Curse!

I almost didn't give this brilliant game a chance - past experiences with tycoon games have left me a little cold towards them, but I'm glad I relented, and gave this one a shot.

This is one of the best games I've played - period!
Usually, tycoon games bore me comatose, but this one is a whole new ball game.

You master several fairy-tale style villages, until you've sent each of the competitor potion stores out of buisness, by checking the weather, to see what the likelihood of certain curses [swollen heads, broken hearts, irritable vowel syndrome, being set on fire, swearing, nudity, to name a few] will be, then buy the ingredients for the potions needed to cure these curses.
You can hire goons to help with marketing, or just an old fashioned strong-arming tactic, you can purchase upgrades for your stores, spells to help you sway customer loyalty, as well as help several fairy-tale characters in distress along the way.
If you should happen to go broke, the Fairy Godmother will pay off the loan-shark for you - just once, per village.

This differs greatly, from ANY tycoon game I have ever played, and I've played a LOT!
You won't be bored, it's just that much fun. :)

The animated villagers and goons are incredible, with the little animated curses each person may be suffering from, above their heads.
The soundtracks are perfect for this game, they are relaxing, and set the mood for the whole fairy-tale theme.
I can't fault it in any way.

Once you've completed the game, you can play it in happily ever after mode, just relaxing, and seeing how much cash you can make in each village.

You'd be missing out on something really good, if you didn't at least, download the demo.
You have nothing to lose, except hours - and hours - and hours -
Hours spent playing this fanciful enjoyable game :)

Huge thumbs up!

Private Eye: Public Praise

I am REALLY confused by all the negativity for such a great game folks!!
I am a huge fan of MCF, and I have to say, this game rivals, and almost beats it, in almost every respect, and that is a hard task for any game developer for this genre.

The only downsides for me, were one spelling error [that I noticed anyway] and some of the clue descriptions didn't quite match the article itself.. apart from that it was great!

Mini puzzles - There are so many of these, apart from the clues-within-clues in the normal gameplay.. you have shape-matching, hidden cash, spot-the-difference, and finally, at the end of each assignment, you need to be vigilant, and take pictures of the suspect, it's basically like Paparazzi, but you don't have to wait around for ages, to get a glimpse of your perspective photo victim :)
Some endings require you to guess who the Ringleader is, and I'm fairly sure this is a random thing, maybe a slightly negative thing, but not a problem, does not harm the fun in any way.

This game was a LOT of fun, and to those who gave negative reviews, I can only say, I'm baffled as to why, or maybe you weren't up to the challenge, and it wasn't THAT hard :) - No offense meant at all here!

This almost beats similiar Seek & Find games, like Dream Day Wedding, Mystery Case Files, Magic Academy, Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile - [All excellent games in their own right] to name a very FEW, and some of these pale in comparison!

You would be really missing out on a decent gaming experience, especially if you are a fan of this type of game, if you didn't download the demo!

Huge thumbs up from me folks :)

Frantic Farming Fun

How did I miss this game!?!?!?!?
It's.. in one word -> Awesome.

If you've ever played Insaniquarium, you will soon catch on to how this game works... though this is more 2/3D, and not cartoonish.

It is set in one area, where you are surrounded by various buildings you need to make enough $$$ to either buy, or upgrade.. so you purchase the appropriate animal, collect their goods, click on the correct building [egg plant.. weaving mill and so on].. and send them off to market to bring in the big bucks!

Work your way up from geese, sheep & cows.. producing by-products, and earning enough cash for a plethora of upgrades, like storage sheds, goods transporters and farming equipment, as you progress.

It's not an easy game by any means, but not impossible.. it's frantic at times, but nothing the average gamer couldn't handle :)
If you don't get the gold star or silver, just keep replaying the level, it's fun even if you don't make it to gold.. besides, you don't need to gain a star to progress through the levels.
There are also a lot of awards along the way to keep you challenged and interested.

As with Insaniquarium, you are provided with, or can purchase helpers along the way, like cats or dogs, that may help with collecting produce, to holding bears that invade your farm, at bay.
[Thank god for the dogs, as the bears can be pretty overwhelming hehe, though you can catch them and sell them!]

Brilliant graphics and sound, and definately the best dash style game on the market [IMHO].
You would really be missing out on something if you didn't try out the demo.

10 Stars --> if it were possible ;)
Wait .. it is! --> **********

Got to go to bed! ..No.. just one more level!

Little Shop of Treasures: HUGE Game of Pleasures

Wow, that was my first impression of this fantastic game.
It rivals Mystery Case Files, with it's brilliant graphics, vibrant colors and highly enjoyable gameplay.

You find hidden objects in various shops, whilst repairing your own shop.
There are question marks of all colors, shapes and sizes, hidden throughout the levels, that replenish your hints when clicked on, and that accumulate when not used.
With these particular hints, you aren't shown where the item is, but instead, are shown pictures of the item, making the game a little more challenging.
This game can get tricky, even for the most avid hide & seek style game players, so you won't be bored.

The clues are blended in perfectly, making for smooth, professional looking graphics, that will keep you playing over and over again.
You won't be able to stop at just one or two levels, so folks, be prepaired for bags under the eyes, because this one will keep you up, though the game itself can be finished fairly quickly, you will probably want to start playing in Blitz Mode, which is unlocked when the game is completed.
That's the only minus, I found it a little short, but that's ok, I'd replay this anytime, with no possibility of ever being bored.

This game is one of the best I have seen of it's kind so far, and is almost on a par with Mystery Case Files.

Massive heads-up for this one.

I'm positive anyone who gives this a go, will purchase it, it's that good!
Well worth the money!
