Fast paced fishy fun

This is a Fish Tycoon for the inpatient gamer. It has the same relaxing fish theme but instead of waiting for things to gradually happen game play is more like Farm Frenzy once your second tank is introduced. Your fishes require constant maintenance and are incredibly hungry things, willing to eat their fellow fishy friends if you aren't careful. And getting the best price for your fishes means letting them grow up and keeping them happy.
Once you finish the first few levels you have a whole range of gameplay options from breeding to fish options and multiple tanks.
I enjoyed the graphics, the game play, the fish. The three different game options was a very nice addition I think more games should include. My only complaint was that the levels didn't allow you to continue from your old tank. You start with a new tank every round, like a fresh farm in Farm Frenzy it makes the game more challenging but I really like having my previous levels count for more. That's a personal quirk though and definitely not a reason to not try this game out if you like tycoon games or fish games.

Scariest leprechaun ever

This the kiddie friendly version of picture hunt games.
Instead of games where you have to find one object hidden with hundreds other, this game took a stock photo, threw on some horrible computer generated graphics, and then left you to find the outlines of different shapes. Then you get to blindly choose a bonus so you can`t even care about what your score is.
I guess small children could find the added graphics cute, or something, I found myself trying to search without looking directly at them. Then I stopped playing because I still couldn`t think of any children I would inflict this on, or find challenge.
If you aren`t very small, anything will be more interesting. If you are very small, there are so many better things to do Lucky Clover just doesn`t rate attention. And the Leprechaun is creepy.
The music wasn`t bad considering. I turned it off along with the sfx pretty quickly, but I didn`t hate it.

Reformed Tycooner

I play tycoon games like they were going out of style. Ever play mall tycoon? I have. I thought I preferred live action tycoon games to 'buy your ingredients and hope for the best' tycoon games. This totally changed my mind.
The first time I played it I liked it, as the game became harder I found myself making bad choices and ending up worse off. Then my friend forced me to try it again as she explained what I was doing wrong. Turns out after years of mediocre tycoon games I was completely out of practice. Instead of stocking supplies and hitting start day you actually spend time before the day start. By the end of the game I was replacing goons, checking prices against the competitor thanks to my mole, checking the news, forecast, graphs and competitors information all before I would get around to buying supplies. The more customers you get the more likely you are to run out of supplies so even that was an actual aspect of the game. I can`t remember the last game where I used every tab in every section.
All that before the day started. Unlike other tycoon games you don`t just sit by passively during the day either. Or hit triple fast forward or go and make yourself a sandwich. Instead after the first few rounds when you get an idea about the flow of the crowds for when you put out your goons you get to upgrade spells. From stopping conversation to hooking groups of people more interested in your competitors or topping off your supplies mid day, or just seeing what people really think about your store I found myself actually playing through the day.
All around this is what tycoon games should be, all of them. Great backgrounds for screens you see all the time, mini quests, competitors who`s progress and eventual defeat you can watch, and who`s stores you can sabotage given the right goon, great game play. All that and the option to continue playing just for the spite of it. Love that and seriously what tycoon gamer wouldn`t?

Why selling land is better than parking cars

This is like a half breed DinnerDash. You don't buy upgrades you choose what you would like to upgrade the same characters, cars have colours and leave their mark like Flo's customers on their chairs. Other than that this is a different breed of animal.
This is more of a puzzle game than a dash game. True there are impatient customers, and things that will annoy your line, but the gameplay isn't serving customers, it's trying to shuffle cars. When a customer arrives you can see approximately how long they'll be and when you click on the person their car appears. You then pull it in to one of the marked spots, which is the start of the odd parking logic. You continue until people start arriving and wanting their car back, at which point you have to hope you have enough empty spots to get to their car, if you don't have an empty space and you didn't plan ahead, you're stuck until someone on the outside arrives, even though there is plenty of free pavement you could leave an extra car. Still limiting how you serve your customers means it's more challenging and more fun.
Unlike DinerDash where your customers remain stationary you can re-park cars without disturbing the colours already on the pavement, which means you can park all your yellow cars in one space then re-park them somewhere else instead of spacing out your colours. If you do it the way the game intends then you get several 2x spaces instead of one 6x space. It means you can't park the same car a dozen times in the same space for a bonus, but it does leave another window to help boost your score.
The only thing that really annoyed me was having customers not appear in the same colour outfit as their car. I had to spend more time clicking on each customer to find the right colour than I wanted.
I skipped the music since I haven't met a DinerDash song I like yet, the graphics are the usual DinerDash mediocrity and I admit I didn't finish the trial. Still this is more fun than you might expect from the na

Great puzzle play

The first few levels are very easy but past those the game does get interesting.
The picture you are jigsawing your way too is partially shown with the outline of the pieces highlighted. Increasingly there are 'blocked' sections you have to work your way to. That isn`t the main difficulty but in fact even building the puzzle on the actual picture into the actual framework doesn`t help you as much as you hope. The pieces leisurely scroll down and around the game area while you try not to let the pieces get the best of you. That and there`s a plot about unicorns or something. If you have ever enjoyed playing online jigsaws you should download this.
I only really had two problems. The music was useless, which was easy enough to fix. What I couldn`t get over were the pictures. If you like lovely nature scenes with an animal in them this is a game for you. If you get bored of putting together flowers and trees and wouldn`t mind anything else, anything at all, then you might get bored. I, personally, have reached my limit of cute nature scene jigsaw puzzles for a goodly while after playing almost all of the demo. If you do like the look of the screenshots then by all means you should try.
If you`re like me and you have a limit to pastoral scenes, you will probably still enjoy the game but only to a point.
