Saqqarah - The best match puzzle game we ever had!
Undoubtedly, Ancient Quest of Saqqarah is the best match games we have. With the amazing sound effects and stunning graphics, this game already attracts me in the first level and I can't stop playing this impressive game.
Unlike all those Match-3 games, there are multiple types of puzzles in Saqqarah, which are completely different from what we have been playing. Instead of matching gems and fill up the gauge, we match to illuminate boxes - This is definitely original, and very refreshing.
Your magic helper is also well-designed. His magic has different functions and can be upgraded as you process through the temples. This add more fun as you play, and the graphics and sound are both very impressive when the spell is casted.
Codeminion has made an almost perfect game here, though there is one downside - The game is not very easy to start with, since it is very different from the others. Highly recommened to any puzzle fans and non-puzzle players, you won't regret for trying this game! |

Disappointing...
It is a nice shooter game, but when comparing with the previous epiode, Airstrike II is much better. Firstly, it has three bosses and three nice backgrounds for each of them. Secondly, the weapons are correctly matched with the pictures are most of them are usable. Thirdly, there are two times as much of choppers to choose from.
This sequel is very rough. Just look at the "Information" and you will see that it is just copied from Airstrike II. But something is changed! You can't just use the old one. (For example missle gun is lost and two new weapons arer introduced, but the Information is unchanged) There is also one JUNK weapon. The cyan laser is totally useless as it does like no damage. Even worse, there are only three choppers to choose, and is definately not enough to enrich gameplay.
This sequel is a shame to the Airstrike series, its only advantage is the Speeding Up system, where you can fly faster if you move forward. But other attributes are quite poor in contrast with the finely polished Airstike II. |

Outstanding!
Most matching games are boring, this is much better than the usual ones. Being a click-and-clear matching game, it has quite a number of new ideas, such as glass cells and some magic items. It has a trophy system and surprisingly, a new mode to unlock IN the trophy system. (Another creative idea) This increases replaying value.
Worth buying if you are a fan of Super Collaspe or Bejewel 2. |

Disappointing...
A methodical multi-directional space shooter. Though with higher quality than most 1998 games, I don't find it very entertaining.
There are good points to appreciate. Firstly, there are plenty of weapons and power ups to pick, I especially like the companion drone. Secondly, the graphics are very nice. And thirdly, the enemies are creative, such as an armoured ship will ram you instead of ordinary shooting.
However, a main downside that stop me from playing is that the objective is absolutely repetitive. You are picking up some blue balls every level without any new style missions. After playing to lv20 I decided not to play anymore because of the extreme boredom.
There aren't much multi-directional shooter nowaday, so this one is a rare piece with considerable quality. I don't like it much but I still recommend it to action players. |

Disappointing...
I don't see any reasons for addicting to this game. Poor graphics, poor sound effects, the only point I can praise is the multiplayer capability. There are no permanent upgrades in the game, which means your ship is always as weak as the beginning of the game, which ULTIMATELY means your enemies MUST be always as weak as the beginning of the game, and this is very disappointing. I did not complete the game, I just abondon it after finishing the first stage, I can't say it is a great game. |
