This game is great!
This is a platform game where you are Super Granny trying to save the kitties and plant as many flowers as you can. Sounds simple enough, but toss in some really upset dogs that are running about and it can become a challenge.
Gameplay is simple -- arrow keys and spacebar to dig holes or perform other actions. The holes are used to trap dogs (ala the old PC game, Lode Runner). There are powerups and other special items that granny can wield as she attempts to rescue the kittens. For example, she can find a frying pan used to smack the dogs that are chasing her, or she might find an umbrella that can be used to float her on an airstream to a higher level.
The sounds aren't bad, with just enough smart comments from granny to keep you entertained but not annoyed. Dogs bark, kittens meow, and other sound effects make it entertaining.
Overall, this game is fantastic. In my opinion, one of the best to be found on this site. |

Not a bad game... but is a bit easy
This is a pretty good game. You control a tank with the arrow keys and fire with the control key. Along the way, you get the usual upgrades (speed, firepower, etc.) Of course if you get destroyed by another tank, you lose all of these and get to start over.
The graphics aren't bad, and the sound was appropriate. Despite all of this, I expected a little more. Most of the action games I've played from this site are either impossibly hard at the higher levels or maintain an almost to easy challenge. This one tends to be a little to easy. When your tank is fully upgraded, it is almost non-stoppable. Even the addition of pillboxes, etc, can't hide the fact that staying in one place almost guarantees a successful outcome. There are a few difficult scenarios, but most of them are pretty simple.
No save game, just passwords as you advance through the levels.
Overall, if you are looking to kill some time, this is a pretty good game to do it. Despite hoping for a little more, I enjoyed it. |

This has the potential to become hard fast...
Not a bad game. It looks simple at first, but it gets pretty hard quick. Not much sound and pretty simple graphics, but the game is nice for anyone that likes a good logic puzzle. |

Not bad, but chock full o' bugs
I actually have been playing the full version of this game that a friend of mine bought. Its really not a bad game if you like puzzles and exercises in problem solving.
There are several levels to work through using a variety of ramps, springs, levers, and bombs. Each item has its own characteristic, and each can aid Mortimer in his quest to get from point A to point B. As an added twist, it may not take all of each item or each item to accomplish this task.
There are just enough sound effects in the game. This isn't an action adventure game, so you are not attacked by some loud thumping music in the background. The Jetson's tune is cute when you unlock the exit. (Did I mention the exit is sometimes locked and requires getting a key or keys to open it?)
Of course, this game has a few problems. The biggest is that there are bugs in the code. When we were playing, we got the occasional "Script Error" and the game refused to go any further. It seems there have been some patches made, so apparently they were not installed on the machine I played on... The game I played crashed. Maybe this is fixed now on the demo.
If not for the errors, I'd have rated this game higher. Frankly, I like this type of game, and I have enjoyed playing it. Wish I could see the end, but the errors in the program has prohibited this.
(Editor's Note: Sorry you are having problems with the game. I would suggest downloading and installing the latest version from our site. Assuming you purchased the game from us, your system will still see this version as "purchased" so you get the latest build without losing your game.) |

Not terrible, but it could be better
Overall, I found this to be a pretty decent game. It reminds me of some of flash anime games that are all over the Internet. You pick an option from one of the listed choices on the screen and wait for the outcome. If you pick correctly, you make a few bucks or improve in a skill. If you pick incorrectly, you may lose some cash or hitpoints. Simply stated, the play is easy to learn.
There seem to be several endings for this game. I never saw many of them because I wasn't that great at it. However, everyone else said they are in here somewhere.
I found the game addictive, the sound a little bizarre (Some of the songs just don't seem to fit the game), and the graphics aren't wonderful. However, the game has pretty good play, and I liked it. |
