I'd never heard of Chromadrome 1 before so I had no idea what to expect with #2. I read the description and it sounded interesting so I checked it out.

Having never seen #1 before this game reminds me very much of Snail Mail, only way better. Mesmerizing, beautiful, and maddeningly addictive are dead on statements. The tracks and the scenery are magnificent as you race through each of the areas. The game is simple enough to pick it up quickly and challenging enough to keep you playing for long periods of time, I kept telling myself I was going to quit after each race but couldn't, before I knew it the demo was expired. The part of this game that I like best is that you can play your own music files during the game. The game let's you play your music files via an explorer type interface. On top of that the skies in the game (while you are playing) are visualizations that play to the music. I was playing Demon Days by Gorillaz and it was just amazing to watch. I can't wait to try it with some Pink Floyd or some kick butt AC/DC cranking through my system and dancing on my screen. You also win medals that unlock bonus races, that upon winning, give you bonuses that you activate in your BFM (Bonus Feature Manager). I can now change my little guys eyes to blue and display the music tracks that are playing on the screen with the two bonuses I've earned so far. I keep playing just to find out what bonus I get next.

The graphics are mesmerizing, the sound (with my own tunes) is outstanding, and the game play is a whole lot of fun. I love this game and I highly recommend it, fun for just about everyone!

It's Boggle...Only Better

This is a really nice little game. It plays just like the board game, has nice enough graphics and sound, and makes scoring a whole lot easier.

You start off as a beginner but has you play and increase your score your level increases. This seems to be most valuable for the 'Match Mode'. After playing for a while my level increased and I seemed to be matched up with someone of an equal level. This made the play seem fair since as you got better, the other players get better.

If you're not connected to the internet, or simply don't want to play against a person, you can play against the CPU. You can select the level of difficulty for the CPU player and go that route. I highly recommend the match mode, there's no finding a room or asking someone to play, you simply select match mode and the game will go out and bring a player to you in only seconds. You never have to chat with them or know anything about them. Finish your match and click on 'Play Again' and the game will go out and find you another player.

If you like Boggle this is the version for you.

Looking for Something New and Fun?

Then this is the game for you!
I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the description, but I was curious so I gave it a shot. Glad I did, you may think its another matching slider clone but there's enough fun and originality here to make it worth while. You slide and match but you also entertain and please the crowd. The more applause you get the more money you earn from a show, the more money you earn the more upgrades you can buy to help you earn more money. You get more applause by making bigger, faster, longer, matches. Eventually you'll have mice trying to interfere with your progress and probably more that I haven't seen yet. There's even a casino where you can bet on Slots, Roulette, and Blackjack to try and earn more money. It's an interesting diversion from the other parts but the real fun is entertaining the crowd.

The graphics are bright and fun and the soundtrack fits the theme perfectly and hasn't grown tiresome yet. The dancing crab with the maracas in between shows is hilarious. Watching his routine is sure to bring a smile to your face.

I'm quite enjoying this game and it's been a nice break from a lot of the games lately. With only a few minutes left on my demo this looks like one I'm going to have to purchase and add to my collection.

Worst Game Of The Year

This is what you get when no one makes any effort to produce a game. You'd think that they would have at least tested it to find out you can get stuck in free play for hours lstening to the same terrible music loop and watching the same single animation loops for the graphics. I wouldn't recommend you download and try it, it's a hour of your life that you'll really wish you could get back.

Now just relax.....

While I tell you about this game.

First, I hated it, but I played on and started to really like it. Once I got to the dinosaur and heard him talk I was hooked, plus, what other game let's you be a dentist on a T-Rex and then teach him (T-Rex) about proper dental hygiene and to only eat the things that grow from the ground and not eat the ones that walk on the ground.

Then the caveman and that wonderful evolution puzzle that drops a major clue as to where the story is going, excellent.

Then I met Socrates, should I mention he was naked? So I had to help him find his tunic so he could get dressed. Once dressed he thought I was there to give him a massage which for some reason I agreed to do. So now he gets undressed and lays on a table with a thin towel coverig his butt and I'm suppose to follow the pattern of touching spots on his body in the correct order and it gets progressivley harder and you have to touch more and more spots on his body (I'm not kidding about any of this) and she (I) keep saying "Now just relax" over and over.

At that point I quit, guess I'm not into giving old naked men massages on my computer. But if you are then what the others are saying about this game are correct. It is long really long. It has an excellent story, good graphics, nice music, and a lot of bang for your buck (if you buy the full version you'll be playing it for a long time). Plus there might be other people to massage and teach dental hygiene toalong the way!
