Where is the sixth star in rating?
Not too fresh (Original publisher, Microprose weasel out of business few years ago), but maybe this is the best boardgame adaptation of all time. I love original boardgame, and Risk II can renew this legendary game. The new Same-time mode is very unique and very funny. And the music! Tchaikovsky's classic is maybe the best background music, if you want to dominate whole world. If i want to say only one word from this game, then i say: PERFECT. |

Finally...
Finally something new, something fresh. I have a 10-years old daughter and she learn to cook now. This game help for her to love cooking. Fugazo Inc. had a good idea (like many other game-maker), and they made a good game from this. Congratulations! It was very delicious! |

I take a risk again...
At first time i was surprised. After Risk 2 Reflexive released Risk? Not too logical step. I check makers and i see IWin... Hmmm... (I know IWin "made" Risk 2 too, but Risk2 was only a re-release of Microprose's Risk 2.) Hmmm... This is not prequel of Risk 2. This is a whole new Risk adaptation? Let's try!
I love Risk boardgame (and almost all bigger boardgame) and i'm happy every time, when i can try a new adaptation. IWin made a good work, but nothing more. I missed new rules (example in Risk 2 was Same-time mode). This version is a good adaptation, but if i play with a boardgame on PC, then i wait something new, a little plus. But this version not contains this little plus.
Graphic is good for a turn-base strategy, but not revolutionary.
Sound good, but i turned off speach after twenty minutes...
Gameplay is perfect adaptation, but what i say previously. Exact rules adaptation, but nothing more.
Summary: 4/5
Ps.: A little message for programmers: i wait a good Clue (aka. Cluedo) adaptation from long time... |

This week is...
This week is AWESOME!!! The first was Ingenious and after that come Mr. Robot! I remember Head Over Heels and Neuromancer from Commodore 64. And now Zero G Games made to me a mix. Isometric view and good logic puzzles, like HoH and cyberspace with upgradeable programs like Neuromancer... I think this is the BEST game what i played anytime from Reflexive. Megarespect for Zero G!
And i checked: Zero G made four games for Reflexive (Mr. Robot, Kudos, Democracy, Magic Stones) and my avarage rating is 4.75. Zero G is a very good team! Very unique and interesting games at every time! |
