WOW, Where did this come from ?
This game really took me by surprise.
I was looking for something unique and different. I definetly found it. This game is unlike anything I have ever played. It is crazy because while the gameplay is as straitfoward as can be.... I still find myself very confused when it comes to the missions.
The missions seem to come periodically and randomly, and they are all the same as far as I could tell from my 60 minutes of play (which I used in a single sitting) There are a bunch of locations on a map, one of them is the one you need to go to, but there is no way to identify it as far as I could tell, which is a little frustrating, I hate luck based success or failure.
Forget about the missions tho, the real "meat" of this game seems to come in the form of the Global Defense Network Headquarters Training Facility......
WOW IS THIS COOL !!
The music is INCREDIBLE ! (I can't believe all these songs fit in an 8 mb file) It is seriously mood-setting techno/trance stuff and it is all really good ! The music adds so much to this game!
The graphics are so simple that it is hard to explain why they are so amazingly slick and fluid. Everything has a very colorful almost day-glow etyle to it... it really makes the game come alive. The reflections and the particle effects are all top notch and they bring such unique and vibrant life to the game that you can't help but want to play it. Despite the "neon" nature to the graphics the game is still somehow able to achieve a wonderfully "gritty" atmosphere.
A+++++++++++ on concept !!
The storyline is a little hard to really comprehend in 60 minutes due to the presentation of it. You basically communicate and are communicated with thru an in game message baord. Reading all the messages starts to clue you in on what is going on.
I couldn't tell before the trial ended if the storyline was weak or strong but i definetly got the sense that it was intricate.
I love this game, I think I am gonna buy it...... |

REAXXION - It's like candy for your mind
The "Breakout" style game has become a staple of online game production studios. This is for good reason, the "fast-twitch" response style of games make for very immersive entertainment. A lot of crummy clones little this genre here on Reflexive.com, and on the internet in general. Because of this it is pretty rare that I even try them, even when free demo's are provided.
Break Quest , another game on the Reflexive site has long been my very favorite "Breakout" style game. It has great graphics and sound and a few twists that really made it stand out. I honestly never thought I would see a better "Breakout" style game produced.....
Then came REAXXION.
This game is truly a gem. The gameplay is spectacular, smooth , fluid , fast and extremely fun. The whole concept of "liquid metal" adds a very new twist to the old concept of "breakout" that really creates a dramatic change in the game dynamic. It is basically a health-meter in disguise. I love it!
The graphics are superb. Very simple little gif images that resemble christmas lights arranged into very interesting patterns and shapes against slick looking , futuristic techno backgrounds. there is even some motion in the backgrounds , just enough to make them come alive , without ever interfering with the gameplay.
The techno-trance music is top notch and really gets you into the mood the game creates. the sound effects are also top of the line and really add a lot to the already excellent package.
This is a great game and certainly worth trying out. I have a free game coming from reflexive and this is probably going to be it.
Thank You Mumbo-Jumbo, this game is COOL! |

Relax. Be Happy. Play OUBA.
I had my fill of match 3 games a very long time ago.
I would rather eat meecrob than play another match 3.
I would rather spend the hottest day of the year in traffic on the George Washington Bridge just to find out I didn't have the money for the toll and be turned around at the toll booth than play another match 3.
I would rather dance the hootchie-coo naked on public television, wearing a 5 color propeller cap while Roseanne Barr and Rosie O'Donnel hum the national anthem accompanied by twelve 70-year old men eating pudding; than play another match 3.
I HATE MATCH 3 GAMES!! THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THEM AND NONE OF THEM ARE ANY GOOD !!
OUBA makes me happy !!
Ouba is a brilliant game with a wonderful and charismatic cheery , bright , happy environment that you can't help but love.
Everything about this game will make you smile. It is fun to play , and fun to watch someone else play, and even if, like me, you are sick of match 3 games.......
This will make you happy !!
If more people played OUBA there would be less crime in the world.
I love this game and I love the OUBA. Try it out and so will you! |

DIAMICHI! This place would put Digiornio outta business !!
I love this kind of game when it is done well.
"Cake Mania" is one of my all time favorite games on this site, as is "Flower Shop Big City Break".
Sadly , since the releases of those two fine games I haven't really seen much in this genre that has exicited me until TURBOPIZZA!
The story is basic and not very involving, which in my opinion is good, as a story gets in the way of the action in a game this fast paced.
The graphics are not only top-notch, but very cool and friendly. It "feels" like the Round Table Pizza I eat at in Mt Shasta when I visit CA. Very cozy and medival but in a lighthearted fun way.
The controls are SPOT-ON PERFECT. 'Nuff said.
The music is actually really cool. It is just fast enough to drive you without making you frantic. It is not the kind of thing I would listen to in my car..... but it fits the mood of the game perfectly and enhances the atmosphere, as music is supposed to do. The sound effects are also perfect.
The gameplay is what really determines whether or not a game is GREAT or good. This one is definetly defined as GREAT! It fast furious mega-twitch gaming at it's finest. TurboPizza is a really good name for this game, because you really have to react fast.
The difficulty is right where it should be. It is hard to get expert everytime, and yet it is always possible. The game throws a lot of customers at you at once and they all order different things, but the shop gives you all the resources necessary to deal with them quickly enough; as long as YOU are fast.
The upgrade system is a little more simple than I woul have liked, however, it is well done and the only true complaint I have is that in my 1 hour demo I had already unlocked all but 3 items.
If you like these "Diner Dash" style games TRY THIS!
It simply is one of the best ones out there.
A definite candidate for purchase.
THIS GAME IS GREAT! |

Yummy!
If you were to ask me why I like this game so much i could not tell you.
It is a very simple match 3 with some interesting bells and whistles. There is a degree of strategy added to it in that you ned to make certain things happen in a specific order to accomplish your task.
The difficulty is right where it should be. This is a refreshing change from games of this type which generally seem to be insanely difficult or retardedly simple.
I really like the sizzling sound effects. Sometimes i feel like I can actually smell hamburgers being cooked =^P
The graphics are decent, but nothing outstanding......
I really can't stand match 3 games, not because they are not fun, just because I have played SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many of them. I almost never have anything good to say about them.
Despite how it looks, this one is AWESOME!!
With the exception of OUBA (which if you haven't played you should) this is my favorite match 3 game on the site. Probably of all time.
Gamehouse you have outdone yourselves, take a bow ^.^ |
