Its easier than it looks.
The secret to playing this game is to only use the w key to move and use the mouse to turn. If you are left handed then use the up key to move. Don't use any other keys as it is not necessary as you simply move the mouse to where you want to go and then use the w or up key to go there. In no time at all, you'll be zipping around and playing like a master.
As for the game itself, its not at all bad but does get repetitive like most indie/casual games. |

Give This A Chance
I gotta be honest and state that I'm getting a bit bored of zuma clones as there have probably literally been about four dozens of them. However this game is pretty cool as you can move your character left to right at the bottom of the screen and can actually purchase your lives and powerups. The graphics are top notch as is the sound that doesn't get on your nerves.
My advice is to give the trial a go if you are a pro as it really may give you that itch again for old time's sake and don't forget to choose hard difficulty.
For those new to the world of casual games and zuma clones, you are absolutely gonna love this, its something a little special.
If this was released just about Zuma, it would have taken the casual gaming scene by storm. But hey, if its been awhile or if you are new to the scene then this will satisfy you. |

Can Be Played One-Handed
This game is a godsend for those who only have the use of one hand as the entire game can be played one-handed as you only need to use the mouse or the up/down/left/right keys on the keyboard to play.
Its a fun little game but I strongly recommend you only allow yourself one life ( if you are experienced with these type of games) as it is too easy otherwise.
Kids will love it as will you for a short while, its a good little timewaster.
Its one of those games where you jump around the screen collecting gems and avoiding baddies. I like how you can hide in doorways and then pop out as an enemy walks by, which knocks them off the screen if you time it right. |

Richochet Infinity is Gold!!
I never used to be a fan of the Richochet games due to the limited control you had over the ball. That all changed with Infinity and isn't it funny how a seemingly minor tweak can really change the gameplay. The only way to play Richochet infinity is on the hard level and without continues whatsoever. Trust me, you'll grow addicted to the intensity and drama whenever you lose a ball or conquer a new world.
Not to mention, the repeated attempts will see you grow to be a Richochet champion with fine-tuned reflexes and tactics! One of the best indie games I have ever played, up there with Professor Fizzwizzle & Chuzzle. |

Its Worth The price
I've played the sequels that are supposedly better but have found that only the graphics are. The sequels are 20 dollars and have only 8 levels each and not available on Reflexive. This badboy has 18 levels which are just as lengthy as the sequels' levels. So yes, you get over 2 times the demonstar for a fraction of the price of each of the sequels. Its great value for money.
Its true that the visuals are not crash hot but they are serviceable, just like the visuals of the awesome crimsonland.
What matters though is the gameplay and this baby is just as good as the sequels. In fact, it surprises me that there has been a lack of innovation on behalf of the developer as all the games in the series play the same. If you own one, you own them all with just differences to the graphics and very little variation differences to the gameplay.
Give this a download, it might surprise you, especially if you miss arcade shooters of old.
And yes it works well with an analogue controller such as xbox controller for windows. |
