not bad for kids...
this game is in the old 'push the blocks to find the exit/treasure' style that was once very popular and, in my opinion, just about due for revisiting!
The underlying story is adequate, though generally geared toward the younger player. The graphical style is beyond cartoon, but still fun and the sound is pretty good all things considered.
The game itself, though, is like a blast from the past. Who didn't have fun pushing blocks around to cross gaps, water, fire or block bad guys? The much improved graphics and sound bring the genre back up to date and make the game eminently playable.
I'll be buying this one as soon as I can get my piggy-bank open! |

not again!!
I love these hidden object games, and this one is a good one! The music, if a little annoying after a while, is easy to turn off and the graphics are good (did they get a job lot of sunglasses clip-art though, or is that just me??) But I have one problem with all games (and mini-games) of this genre - why do the game designers always feel the need to put spiders in there?? I HATE spiders! I dont like the real thing and even pictures give me the creeps - which means there is often a part of the screen I find difficult to look at... Come on game designers, put something else in and save those of us with 'eight-legged-freak-a-phobia' some skin crawling! |

good enough but...
I got this game not having seen the show - and as far as I can see that didnt make any difference to the gameplay whatsoever.
The pages are quite MCF in quality though I thought the game as a whole suffered from the lack of a 'mini-game' at the end of each case or level.
The 'end game' was disappointing too, a jigsaw of the pieces that had been collected throughout the game, but one in which the pieces were all presented in the correct orientation - not very challenging!
The overall premise of the game, seeking a dozen or so missing people, was almost incidental to the game. There were no real clues to their whereabouts, no opportunity to actually find them and when the end text announced their re-emergence, no explanation of where they had been... very unsatisfying!
I'd recommend this game for young people, but for the serious 'seeker' I'd say stick with MCF... |

Fantastic - well worth the money!!
I loved this game, it is original in both concept and gameplay, it's puzzle challenge but do not stump you and whilst it has a lot of levels, once you are finished it is very easy to go back to the beginning and play it all over again... something I have done several times! The pure variety of puzzles mean there is something there for everyone.
The graphics are excellent and the sound is good too. I can't wait for Azado 2 to come out - here's hoping its a long lived series! |
