Back to the old days!
Titan Attacks is a rare thing, a new game that brings back the good old days , when graphics were not as important as the game play. The graphics here are ok but nothing spectacular which is in this case a really good thing.The game play is spectacular, starts of easy enough then get really interesting really quickly.
The game it self seems to be a mix of old time games like space invaders, pheonix, and asteroids and thats just through the first couple of motherships. It can be played using the mouse or the keyboard(the keys are redefinable). All in all i loved this game and would recommend it to anyone who wants an old school space invader that gets the just another level hype going all over again.Great game keep them coming! |

Update brings the memories back!!
Having played the original Scramble when it was new,Yes i am an old gamer,I've been around since the start of gaming,anyone remember the zx81, I DO, i have to say i was pleasantly surprised by this incarnation of the game. Many game revamps update the graphics but tend to lose all the game play that made the games great. This is not the case with Space Skramble, the graphics are certainly an improvement, but after 26 years you expect them to,as for the sound its not bad could be better i think, but the game play is brilliant, it still gives me the the just one more go feeling i used to get when playing games. Nowadays the games are brilliant in almost everyway, but most seem to lack in game play, the kind of gameplay that keeps you coming back over and over to beat that level.Well this one keeps me coming back,again and again i love it. The game wont appeal to everyone , but if you played it the first time round , give it a go you may be surprised at where the memories take you. |
