Gameplay:

Almost too easy

Although these 'run your own business' types of games (such as Sally's Spa or Sally's Salon) are usually my favorite, Posh Boutique almost let me down in a way. Although the gameplay was nice, and it had some semblance of a storyline, it was far too easy (I only failed one level, and that was the very last one). I only spent about 5 hours total playing, and that was a bit of a letdown.

Pros:
  • Like all the other 'run your own business' games, you have to upgrade your store, which I for some reason really like.
  • The graphics are simple, but not horrible-looking, which is nice.
  • I really liked how after you finished a boutique, you could replay it in "ultimate mode", which was a slightly harder version.

    Cons:
  • You can't redo a level if you don't achieve expert. yes, I know, this isn't a necessity for these types of games, but many people like to replay the levels to try and get a higher score. I really was a bit bothered by that.
  • "Ultimate mode" isn't much harder than regular mode. It's just all the stages of that boutique crammed into one level.

All in all, an average game, although I'd say it is worth getting the full version if you enjoy playing this type of game. :)
