Welcomed change!
I bought this game full out without even demoing it first because I love hidden object games. I have to admit, just as I suspected I was not disappointed with this one.
It's a bit different than the normal kinds, you know those ones.. a little story, find the images, a little more story, etc.
First off the sounds are excellent and they give you a real feeling of being on an actual game show, the graphics are great, and the announcer/gameshow host's dialogue isn't too annoying.
But what pulled me in the most and kept me playing were the many different ways you were able to play the actual rounds. There was always something different and random. After you've successfully passed the main round where you find the objects you are taken to a screen where you spin a wheel with multiple games listed on it and wherever it stops you play that game next. For example there's a Spot the Difference game, riddle game, and time battle game. You also earn tokens that can be used to lock off any game you don't care for so you don't have to play it if the wheel happens to land on it.
In all there are 5 rounds total but they all take awhile to finish. The game did not get boring to me, as there were a lot of different things to keep my interest and I'd have to say this was a welcomed and refreshing change to the 'classic' hidden object games. |

Junkie game
The concept of the game is really nice but it comes with many flaws. The major one being the graphics. Not only is the background fuzzy and hard to focus on but the actual "hidden" items are jagged and sometimes even hard to make out and it really ruins the enjoyment of the over-all game play (and not to mention hard on your eyes).
On a positive note I liked how it was sort of a dash/hidden object combined type of game. You have customers come around looking for certain items, once you find it (sometimes it's in plain sight, other times you have to drag and move around items to find it) you have to pick it up and drag it to them and then you get paid. Often times you have to decide which customer you want to sell the item to (generally the one offering the higher price), as there are customers looking for the same item. This can be a bit difficult at times because you'll have a customer asking for clock (for example) and once you find a clock hanging on the wall and you give it to them you don't get paid and you have to sit and think for a minute why, you'll soon figure it out... they asked for a clock, NOT a wall clock.
The game had great potential, but to me it seems like it was put together in a rush, making it appear sloppy and overall not very appealing. |

An okay game
This is a nice time killer, especially for those who love to decorate. You earn money as your houses are decorated and your furniture is built to suit your clients wants (which by the way you have to figure out by the given clues) and with that money you can buy items to decorate your very own home.. well room anyway.
My only complaints about the game are;
1. When the workers get hurt you have to wait for them to stop running around wildly before helping them.. and then you have to get to them before they start running again. This can sometimes be challenging.
2. There could be more choices as to furniture and items you can buy to decorate your home.
The music was so-so, not enough to be distracting but not that enthralling either. Graphics were excellent for a cartoon styled game, so no complaints there. |
