A lot worse than most match three's
This game would be an example of how not to make a match 3 game. There are a number of problems with this game. First of all, the graphics are really sub par, nothing looks good at all. Second, and most importantly to me,the mouse is really "floaty", making it hard to target the objects, and there is no option to turn it down a notch. The music is kinda annoying as well. Overall, I really didnt find anything fun about this one. If you like match three games, look elsewhere, because this one is not for you. |

Standard game....kinda fun...could be better.
Theres not much to say about this game. As the name implies, it plays very similar to virtual villagers, but this time your "Village" is a house, and likewise, the things you do are changed accordingly. However, i do have a problem with this game, a justifiably big problem. There is a game that some people may have heard of, a little game called The Sims 2. It plays similar to this, but is waaaay more in depth and fun. My suggestion would be to just spend the extra 10 dollars and buy a copy of Sims 2 Double Deluxe for the pc instead of this game, youll get much more gameplay and fun and customization for a mere 20 dollars. |

Not bad, but not great
This plays just like your typical match 3 game, but with the added twist of battling enemy ships at the same time. You can match cannonballs to damage an enemy, wheels to move away and make yourself harder to hit, and resources to use abilities. There is, however, a few downsides to this otherwise fun game. You max out your ship level less than halfway through the game, and the gold from then on out is worthless. Abilities get maxed out soon afterward, making coin and exp spaces on the match 3 board useless space for half of the game. The story is ok, and the graphics are nice on the battle screen, but terrible during the minigames every so often. The other downside is the difficulty level. The game is waaaay too easy, the only hard battle (and the only one i had to try again in) was the first fight against the specter ship. Once you unlock that ship type, you are untouchable for the rest of the game, it really is that overpowered. Overall, a fun game and definitely worth a try, but far inferior to the Puzzle Quest games. |
