A 'pure' hidden object game
I say this is a 'pure' game with neither superfluous storyline/plot nor boring dialogues in it. This game just give you missions and you search for HOs in different scenes. The minigames are not hard at all, and you can turn off the time-limit and turn on unlimited hints so you can play the game at your own pace. That's why I call this one a pure game. |

Oh, Life is a Circle..
The three Best Mah Jong games on Reflexive are: Tropico Jong, Mahjong Escape and Mah Jong Quest. I can't tell which one is better or which one is worth to buy, but Mah Jong Quest III really lets you choose a life.
There are 4 game modes: Quest, Freeplay, Tournament and Variations. The gameplay was like the previous one. But in Quest Mode, you have to make a life choice after each level, and your choice affects Kwazi's life. His life depends on you but ends as a metempsychosis whatever choices you make. Nice idea. And I agree with the viewpoint of the game that life is a circle. In a lifetime people build up karma, both good and bad, based on their actions within that lifetime. This karma affects their future lives and existences. People must take responsibility for their actions either within this life time or the next. Death is a key part of this cycle and is treated with specific importance. Death is the last samsara (cycle of life) referred to as the 'last sacrifice'. Everyone should make a wise choice before doing everything to live a happy life. |

Build-a-lot 3: Passport to Europe is a fantastic sequel
Many players dislike sequels because they had nothing new compared to the original. As I downloaded the demo and started the game, I thought no it was a same old stuff (as I metioned above). The main menu and tutorials are exactly the same as the first two works.
But when I skiped the tutorials, I found I had made a big mistake and almost missed a good game.
The graphics are much much better than the first two. Landscapes are more beautiful with many new elements: the lake reflection, the falling snow, night scenes with shining lights, and more! That was a very pleasant improvement.
The gameplay was improved in certain details too. In the original Build-a-lot, paying tax is really annoying, so they remove it in the 2nd part, but meanwhile making the game too easy. In this 3rd part, houses may get stolen, be aflame or need Ambulance. And you can prevent the accidents by build defferent builds (Hospital, Police Office, etc.). Building a Post Office and Banks will brings lots of profit but every of them occupies an empty lot. So in this sequel it is more challenging to achieve the goal in time. The houses still have chances to be damaged or abandoned and you have to repair or restore them as quickly as you can. In this sequel, you travels from one country to another and sometimes you may head back to a country you have visited. So the landscapes are different between levels.
Overall it is a fantastic game, and I hope more sequels to Build-a-lot! |

Unreasonably Hard
I tried this game for 40 mins and finally surrendered. The objects to find are so small to find out, not to metion the difficult 'puzzles'. Maybe this is a fun game for someone else, and maybe I was dizzy while playing it, but I am exhausted now T_T. |

Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year!
You cannot imagine my excitement at finding Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year released here.
As the original Build-a-lot has been staying in the top 10 sellers since a long time ago, I am sure Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year will hit the top 10 and stay for long again.
I like the new way of playing, and the game experience made me crazy. And if you like something fresh and challenging too, this game is for you. |
