Just Plane Fun

I love time management games, and this one is superlative. First of all, it's cute. The planes are cute, and if you handle them in good time, they leave the airport all happy. The graphics are good and very clear. And the game is challenging.

You have to manage planes. They land, unload, load passengers, and leave. Ah, but things are not so simple. Some planes need gas. Some need repairs. Different types of planes unload and load faster or slower. Some planes are more patient than others. You get extra points for having planes of the same color use the same Jetway, but sometimes you have more colors than Jetways. You get points for having planes take off or land sequentially, but sometimes your runways are fogged up or iced over. Sometimes planes arrive simultaneously and must wait to land; will you show a movie to make them more patient? Sometimes planes must wait for a free Jetway; will you offer a snack to make them patient then?

As the game goes on, it gets more and more complicated. Fortunately you earn money for each successful action, and you can use that money to upgrade, which makes things a bit easier. With lots of side games (can you run a full series of levels without buying an upgrade, can you keep a background item on the screen during a level) for trophies, this game never gets dull.

I rated the sound "liked it," since I don't use sound during the games.

Refreshing but Original

Upon receiving an email about this game from reflexive, i thought, its another diner dash game... boring!!! But i thought it could be different so i gave it a go.

This game is excellent, it has the same point and click base that diner dash has but there is no character to control. You control the planes from when they fly into your airports air space till they take off with a full load of passengers.

The game is very in depth and really makes you think. It also has an option to spend your earned cash to buy upgrades at the begininning of each level.

There are 8 airports in total, im only up to the 3rd and i have decided that its a game worth buying for everyone.

The music is good, and blends very well with the game. Graphics are very well suited to this game and the plane animations are very amusing, the planes occasionally whistle the games theme song. The planes also have faces along with a happiness bar, the faces can tell you how happy the planes are with the service. And last of all the gameplay, best game of this type i have played in a very long time... Well done reflexive and south wind games. 5 Stars!!!

Simply Addictive!

It looks like a kid's game, but once you start you can't stop. Extremely addictive and very challenging. It really tests your memory skills in order to remember the order in which you are giving direction to aircraft to land, gate, repair, fuel, load and takeoff. Very clever and fun!

When you don't suceed to score perfect in all of the levels, try to sell upgrades and buy others.
First thing: buy all the gates, the repainting plot, the anti FOG sistem, the VIP runway, the in flight movies and the beverage service and the plane.Then buy what you want =)

    You can buy a new plane just to get a new Award, then sell the plane and buy a different upgrade.

    Give planes with an emergency, such as "organs transplant", or "baby delivering immediately", priority as they get really impatient and you will be awarded medal if you serve them!

    Try to serve the bigger planes after the smaller planes if possible, as you will get a larger combo bonus. But remember bigger planes are more impatient too!

    Try to purchase a repainting plot, so you can make all gateways reach 4x combo of each color, its the maximum and you get the most combo points and a medal at the end!

    In scenes where there is a hot air balloon floating, just keep clicking it when it reaches one end, it will float back in the opposite direction. By keeping it on screen, you will be awarded a medal.

    The backgrounds have a story behind them, so try clicking around if you have free time.

  		• When landing a plane, you can automatically route it to a gate by clicking the runway and then subsequently clicking a gate.
  		• To create landing and take-off bonuses on runway, keep one runway for all landings, and the other for all take-offs. This avoids confusion as well. :)
  		• When you see a plane with an icon next to it, land it immediately. It's an emergency situation, i.e. woman in labor, organ for transplant, etc. If you land then, you'll receive an award!
  		• You can see the "happiness meter" at the top of each plane. When it's green, it means that the plane is very very happy. (If you land and take-off a plane with a green meter, you'll get an EARLY bonus!)
  		• When several planes need repair or refueling, select the plane which is "least happy" and direct it to repair station or gas station. The remaining planes should be placed first in the layover spaces while they wait. You can try switching planes from one layover space to another to keep their happy meter up.
  		• Use VIP layover spaces for big airplanes, because they are least patient.
  		• When you take so long to land or take-off a plane (like when the meter above them is turning red or is almost gone), the plane will move to another airport, and you'll lose points. It's like losing a customer in Diner Dash.
  		• Try to keep the air as clear as possible from waiting airplanes. Land them in layover spaces and in gates. If you keep them waiting too long up there, they'll leave. If you have the beverage upgrade, click that and all the planes on the ground will be happier.
  		• When you see and hear a helicopter flying, click that as many times as you can until it crosses to the other side of the screen. Clicking the helicopter will give you extra money.
  		• If you started out wrong in the level, you can always restart it so that you can also get supreme score. :D Click MENU >> FINISH GAME >> RESTART LEVEL.
  		• Use painting layover space to continue getting bonuses on your gates. For example, you have 3 gates -- orange, blue, green. And then a yellow plane lands. Park it in the painting space, and repaint it with orange, blue, or green. My tip here is that you paint it the same color as the gate that is free, meaning gate with no queue. :)
  		• Airplanes love being repainted! You'll see their happiness meter going up after a repainting session.
  		• Wondering what upgrade to get first? Try buying all the new gates and all the new layover spaces first. :)
  		• Airplanes have different attitudes, seating capacity, etc. Larger airplanes give highest scores. Use it to your own advantage.
  		• To cancel a plane's queued action, right-click on your mouse.
  		• You can queue several actions on a plane. For example, the plane needs refueling... click a plane on the gate and then click the gas station and then click the gate again. While that plane is in the gas station, you can move an airplane (of the same color as that vacant gate) to that gate so in that way, you are multitasking.
  		• You can queue a plane to a gate even if there is already a plane in that gate. After landing the plane, direct it to a layover space, and then click the gate. When you take-off the plane which is currently in the gate, your queued plane will automatically go that gate.

    the quicker turn the planes around and get off the ground and back in the air and try if avoid late lands, it give a low score, the quickly you move the planes to the gates for unloading and loading it will get a high bonus when the plane takes off. give the jet's right to land first they unload quickly and reload quiuckly and take off more of cash price. when your jet plane you paid lands at your airport you get huge cash bonus on landing and taking off I just played the game and I got a 10,000 bonus for landing a new plane, when it took off and I another 10,000
    bonus . All the tips here are great and they work the correct way in the game

    When you are trying to queue actions for many planes at the same time it's easy to forget which plane color you were last doing.Check out the mouse pointer.It turns the color of the last plane you were working on.

    On the very first, or any other stage of the game, (first is easiest) try not to loose any planes, make all the planes leave early, and land planes as fast as you can, then you will get an award for doing exceptional work.

    Try to "Cycle position of three planes in the same time" for award.



    Example :
    When you have three planes like this
    (Plane A) at the gate (unload and want to repair or refill fuel)
    (Plane B) at the layover space (waiting for repair)
    (Plane C) at the repair shop (repairing and next to load and takeoff)

    when Plane C nearly finish repair try to do this
    Move Plane C from repair shop -to-> Plane A's gate
    Move Plane A from the gate -to-> Plane B's layover space
    Move Plane B from layover space -to-> Plane C's repair shop
    AT THE SAME TIME

    the planes will cycle their positions.
    and you will receive an award.
