I'm not a huge fan of this type of puzzle game but I found this one to be fun and somewhat addictive. It's all in the presentation, and the authors have found a new way to give this genre a total makeover.

Been playing for years.
When I get burned out on the first person shooters that I spend a ton of money on I always go back to Ocean Express.
It is a good game to play while listening to music or talk radio in the background.
I am still tring to catch up to the all-time high score (2 million plus points) often. If you like Tetris type games, with a twist in that you can increase your success with upgrades, then this is the game for you.

Ok but I expected something different
While the presentation, graphics and sound are all to a good standard, I was a bit disappointed to find it was just a souped up version of Puzzle Express. Not that there's anything wrong with the gameplay - a compelling cross between tetris and a... well.. jigsaw puzzle I guess - but being a game released nearly 2 years afterwards, I'd have expected more changes in the gameplay.
If you haven't played Puzzle Express then give this a go - it looks and sounds better. If you've played Puzzle Express then there's probably not enough new material here for you.

This unique puzzle inlay game has you shipping cargo for profit. The best strategy is to buy more barges as soon as you can because this will give you more chances to reach your goal. Also, be careful with the specialty pieces and try to avoid having to throw them in the water. They are worth more if you can place them and can be saved to use on your next barge!
