I've played a couple of brick busting games and frankly became quite bored along the way. So to find this really innovative and different game is great. If it looks naive at first believe me its challenging and so good value game play.
The animations are colourful, cute and well thought out. The story line is simple but really comes to life as you play, you worry if the animals in the sanctuary are getting enough food-so you need to try hard to collect the cash needed to feed them. Collecting the cash is real fun. You either catch bags of money held aloft by balloons or roll your Fizz ball over cash on the ground after you bulldoze and smash the barrels and packing crates.
You move from island to island rescuing different animals by scooping them up in your ever growing Fizz ball. You encounter trials such as thunder and lightning, Martian attack and drums of nuclear waste which you must not hit.
There are rafts of power ups suspended on balloons, extra Fizz balls, fans to blow the Fizz ball whilst in play,a zapping beam and the regular ones like sticky bumper and slow and fast ball. The music and sound effects are inspired, from storm sounds and animal interactions to the upbeat theme tune- the whole thing is a delight to the eyes and ears and the game play as I've said is Fizztastic Fun.
I played the regular mode in the demo and made it to chapter two or the second Island. There's also the bonus of a children’s mode with an animal sounds puzzle included, so heh! you could even get away with explaining how you bought this one FOR THE KIDS!!. I've got to buy it so I can get to the end- try the demo yourself- you wont be able to resist buying it-go on see if I’m right?.- Mirluki

Refreshing fun!
Let me start by saying I'm not a huge fan of breakout games, so I didn't have very high hopes for Fizzball.
Boy was I ever wrong! A refreshing twist on your usual brick-busting breakout game, Fizzball combines bright graphics with cute gameplay to make an addicting addition to anyones games folder.
The graphics are great, with fun colors and cutely drawn animals to rescue, along with surprising weather effects which can be turned off if you're running a lower end PC.
The point of the game is to rescue animals. To do this you have a small bubble called a "Fizzball" that grows in size as it absorbs smaller things in the area. Apples, pinecones and acorns are examples of the things to aim for to grow your Fizzball. Before it's large enough to actually capture animals it will bounce off of them, and the animals will react in surprising and amusing ways. New challenges are added in a timely manner, to keep the game from getting stale.
All in all, this is what a perfect arcade game looks like. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Finally, a DIFFERENT Breakout Game!
I've played every type of breakout game out there. I admit that I'm addicted to them. However, because of that I've become very picky and in order for me to buy a breakout it has to be both challenging AND entertaining. This game fills the bill on BOTH counts. I sure never expected a small bubble to be my ball and that I would have to pick up big animals and avoid hitting other types of objects such as gas to avoid causing pollution!!!This game has all kinds of neat twists, you need to keep your cash level up in order to feed the animals in your zoo (even while not playing so it has an element of simiulation) and even a mystery with martians where you need to avoid martians shooting at you. All bundled in a comic style adventure. The neat part of it all is it's set up for the entire family - you can set it to play on child mode or normal and normal is not so easy once you get to the second island. I got killed off at the end of island 2 and I consider myself an expert breakout player. I guess I'll be going back for more.
