Peggle Deluxe
Take your best shot with energizing arcade fun! Aim, shoot, clear the orange pegs, then sit back and cheer as 10 whimsical teachers guide you to Peggle greatness. Conquer 55 fanciful levels with 10 mystical Magic Powers, racking up bonus points and shots you'll smile about for weeks. Face off against your friends in Duel Mode, or tackle 75 extra-tricky challenges. It's luck and skill and joyous thrills, and amidst all this fevered action only one question remains: Can you become a Peggle Master?
The object of Peggle is to hit 25 orange pegs with 10 metal balls. This is done by launching a ball at a set speed at any angle you choose, and watching as it cascades down the map, bouncing off of pegs and other objects along the way. The game offers a lengthy adventure mode where you are introduced to various characters (and, more importantly, their power-ups) along the way. The difficulty increases along the way at a good pace, offering up smaller (and moving) targets and more obstacles. Once you are done with the adventure mode, you can play any level over again; since orange peg placement is random each time you play, you can play the same level (with the same arrangement) more than once and have different results and strategies. It would take you quite a while to fully complete Peggle, and since each map has a random placement of the orange pegs and multiplayer adds another dimension of the game, Peggle has much more replay value than most puzzle/action games.
Despite its simplistic controls, Peggle is a very enjoyable game. It strikes a great balance between planning your shots and lucky bounces. The physics look to be truthful, and although you can’t adjust the initial speed of your ball, this doesn’t come into play too much. The satisfaction you get when landing a really good shot (either through skill or luck) makes playing Peggle quite rewarding. Its unique combination of different games also makes Peggle an original title, which can’t be said for almost all arcade/puzzle games. Peggle is a very fun game with high replay value that almost anyone would enjoy.

Mother, Father & 2 Kids addicted!!!!
Thanks you to the makers of Peggle they have well and truely saved my sanity from the 7 weeks school break here in the UK.
The kids have loved playing this game and we have been playing family tournements too.... )not just for the kids....lol) ;-)
My youngest son is dyslexic and he struggles with some games but this one he has got the grasp of and is loving every minute of it...
Peggle is a game where you have to shoot balls at coloured pegs to complete the levels.... sounds easy eh? not on your life! lol, you start off on the adventure where you have to master each peggle masters magic, once you complete the adventure you then have 15 pages of challenges to complete which keeps it going for hours.
I kept telling myself one more round!!!! hours later I am sitting here red eyed still screaming to hit that last orange ball!!!
Definately worth every penny buying this game you will not be disappointed, definately one for the whole family. My children are 8 & 10 and they are addicted to it too.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Graphics are great and you can't wait for the ultra extreme fever tune! try and see what I mean :-)

first you have to beat adventure mode to get Master Hu. after you have gotten him to to the level beyond belif (it has a double helix like a pice of DNA). then hit one of the lover pegs to bounce in into one of the X parts near the bottom to make a oppening. NOTE: DO NOT MAKE THE OPPENING TOO LARGE IT WILL RUIN IT. after you have done that, hit a green peg to activate Zen and luanch the ball at a peg to attempt to make it in the oppening. if done correctly and your timing is right you will recive around 350,000 points if you hit the lowest X point!
Hit the blue and orange pegs as usual, then with just one orange peg and the two green pegs, hit them. With an Ultra Extreme Fever, you get two extra wraparounds with two Spooky balls, therefore 100K, 100K, 100K!!! 300,000 Points for you! :)
During gameplay, key in "scott" (without quotes) to enable rightclick speedup during ball drop. You'll speed through the game. Note that this isn't meant for cheating.
The best way to obtain 100% pegs on levels is to first unlock Master Hu. Once you complete Adventure Mode, you then go to Quick Play Mode and replay any level. Hit as many pegs as possible, but try to save up your Zen Ball power-ups for later... for the tricky shots.
A hint on Zen Balls: they try to hit as many pegs as possible, but about 90% of the time aim for the purple peg (unless you aim down when the purple peg is way up top). It does this so you could earn lots of points; you could obtain an extra ball or two, maybe three if you're lucky.
Obtain "Ultra Extreme Fever" by hitting all the pegs. Every dropzone will become an automatic 100,000 points when landed.
MAJOR MASSIVE POINT TIP:
First, try to get only one orange and both green pegs left on the board with Jimmy Lightning. Obtain Extreme Fever, then obtain Multiball after the last orange peg is hit. You can then get an Ultra Extreme Fever with three balls! Since all dropzones are 100,000 points a piece, you could earn up to 300,000 points, even more!
When you obtain a Spooky Ball, try to make the ball bounce sideways so that when it leaves the bottom from the right side, heading leftward, it'll re-enter from the top on the left side, hitting more pegs from the opposite side, and vice versa.
There are also Style Shots for each character's special move.

If you want the game to be extended all the way across your monitor (if your default resolution is above 1024x768), you have to turn off the 3D Acceleration option. Note that the camera won't zoom in when you're about to obtain Fevers and some graphics won't appear as nice.
This has been tested on my 1280x800 monitor.
However, when the computer is connected to the TV, you could have 3D Acceleration enabled and have the screen stretched out. Usually the max resolution for TV's is 1024x768.
Note the Fevermeter... this is also your score multiplier meter.
The less orange pegs on the board, the higher your multiplier.
What about pegs during a Fever?
If you hit any pegs during a fever, they are 100x the normal amount. That means the blue pegs are worth 1000, greens are worth 2000, and the purple is worth 10000.
after you get Master Hu use him constantly to improve your skills watching the zen ball. also watch the demo mode on the main menu to learn masters tricks:P (by doing this i can probably beat anyone sofar on this site in a 3 round duel)
My approach is also Beyond Belief, but I use the alien instead. Restart the level until both green pegs are at the swirl, then try to hit the green peg so they blow up the whole swirl and you get get over 300,000 points.
On the main menu, have you ever noticed about the buttons? Whenever you hover over them, they make a sound. The buttons make a full octave of notes. You need to point (and not click) on the following:
Duel x2 - Challenge - Replay x2 - Challenge - Duel - Quick Play - Adventure x2 - Quick Play - Duel x2 - Quick Play x2
The easiest way to make this to happen is not move off the buttons constantly, but make a up-and-down motion. When you need to point the button twice, easily move off and back on the button, but make the up-and-down motion again.
Normally when you right-click before taking a shot, it speeds up time to make a better shot. Typing the following allows you to go through the game even faster by fast forwarding through all of the shots you take, dramatically decreasing game time.
Type"scott"(during gameplay):Rightclick Speedup
Whenever you play as Warren and use the Lucky Spin, there's a Magic Hat powerup. It has a top hat on top of the ball. The following will give you the top hat, however it is only for looks; it has no effect on gameplay what-so-ever.
