I've killed cellphone batteries playing the first version of this game! That was on a tiny screen, using tiny buttons. Then one day I stumble across this "gem"! I was super thrilled! why I loved Bejeweled with all my heart! BUT, could it live up to the greatness of my favorite puzzler game ever?
Wowzer! I was blown away by this game! It's got to be one of the most fantastic match-3 games I've ever played. Bejeweled is worth every penny and I'll tell you why. It rocks! Don't even bother trying to find the first Bejeweled game. Oh no, just stick with Bejeweled 2 Deluxe and you'll be set! They've amazingly improved upon every aspect of the first game. You'll not be disappointed!
Awesome all the way around. Graphics, sounds, gameplay - the total package, will have you addicted and playing this game time and time again. It's got wonderful gameplay value and it's a wonderful children's game too.

I've Been Bejeweled
Yes, I, too was among the masses who were forced into buying this game because of its unparalleled addictiveness. There isn't a dull thing about it, and I especially like the voice that tells you "good" and "excellent" even though you, the player, had little to no part of whatever crazy chain reaction merited the comment. That is, unless you're the biggest nerd ever and you actually think about which moves to make as opposed to others, rather than just swapping the first three gems you lay eyes on. The music is also of excellent quality. This game is an enormous improvement over the first, adding exactly what was needed to move this game from a "typical swap-3 type game" to an exciting and unpredictable arcade classic. With more play modes to choose from and special "power up" gems, you can't go wrong with this one.

This dazzling puzzler has some really neat special effects: Type any of the following codes while playing the game - STARFIELD, XMAS, NAUSEA or OLDSKOOL...or try them in combination! And, have you seen The Matrix? Type the following codes during any game mode for an awesome effect: NETWORK and GREENSCREEN. Type NORMAL after any effect to change your screen back.
This classic swap & match puzzler is back and better than ever! There are 3 hidden modes that can be unlocked as follows:
Cognito Mode - Beat all of the levels in Puzzle Mode to unlock this cross between Puzzle and Classic Modes.
Hyper Mode - This mode is 4X faster than normal Arcade Mode with a slower timer. Beat Level 9 in Action Mode to to unlock.
Twilight Mode - In this mode, gravity alternates between up and down on each swap for a topsy-turvy experience. Beat Level 18 in Classic Mode to unlock.
To show the hidden games, once unlocked, click on the "?" on the main puzzle screen.
Classic Bejewelled can be accessd in this game by mousing over (in this order)Action>Endless>Puzzle>Classic rapidly at least 4 times. In other words, a clockwise circle around the different modes starting with Action. And, yes, you'll have to do this each time you want to go to the original game.
Beat Endless Mode to Level 281 (All the gems would be filled in the middle, and sparkle-filled sapphire gems around those)! Now, who said that Endless never ends?
Always match the gems in the upper region first. When you don't have any more matches in the upper region, match the lower ones and you can change the whole landscape to create new availble matches in the upper region. This is the general rule for gaming. (And not to blow up the Hyper Cubes, of course)
To enter Original Mode, you must move the mouse in a clockwise circle around the four mode select buttons on the menu screen (Classic, Action, Endless and Puzzle in that order).
It is not enough just to touch the buttons in order, you must actually describe a circle shape with the mouse. You may need to do it several times. Eventually, however, an Original Mode game will start. Original Mode is the same as Bejeweled 1; Classic Mode with no Power Gems or Hyper Cubes.
