One of THE BEST Games on Reflexive

I'm a huge fan of the Westward series, and I confess I didn't pause to demo, I just bought this straight out as soon as I saw it on here. The main reason being that the Westward games never disappoint and you always get a huge amount of gameplay for your money compared to most other games.
Now Westward III is a league above the last two, even better than I expected and i'll explain why to explain my enthusiasm.

NEW ADDITIONS
There's SO many! Compared to the updates for Westward II from the first, a whole lot more has been added in ratio to this one. Now you can plant trees, mine in different ways, go hunting (and let's face it anyone who's played there and been stuck with no wood or food to resource knows the bonus this is), new form of games inside the game itself, more challenges, easier accumulation of unlocking points, more objects to unlock and play about with, plus you seem to be able have more residents before the town becomes unhappy (not sure, could be wrong?). Unfortunately this review has a character limit so I can't go on! :-)

BAD POINTS
I take on board and agree with the reviews upset with the graphics, they have a point but I can honestly say it doesn't particularly bother me in lieu of the gameplay quota.
You still get objects going black on you screen which should be fixed from the last game as you can't tell what they are.
The loading times are a pain but again, acceptable considering if you've got a bit of patience.
The female characters' voices are more annoying in this game for some reason.

My honest opinion, and while I understand those unhappy, is that this is a whole lot of game for the money comparably, and a whole lot of fun if you like these kind of challenge simulations.
I'm very happy with it, and applaud Sandlot for another great update!

Winann's Review

I really loved all Westward sequels, specially the third sequel. When you harvested & exhausted all the trees, you just simply buy seedlings from the General Store & then plant it. It really Feels Great watching those little trees growing & keeping the forest alive again. Your town will never run out of supply, you just simply sells wood to earn more gold. Blessed the creator & the developers of these game.

So many people dislike this game's graphics...

... yet the graphics don't spoil the gameplay a bit. Well, it's the Westward sequel. "Oh, I like the gameplay, but the graphics are so bad" - what's with that? Many games, yes, MANY games have decent graphics, but the gameplay is just not worth anyone's time.

The bottom line is, this game is great and I am willing to have the full version.

HIDDEN SUPPLIES

Redd’s supplies are not near arch way in river - look at lower area and you will see another arch - and above the arch is a mesa with boulders - go there and get the treasure

PERFECT GIFT

in order to get the white rabbit you have to do the following:

Have three farms growing carrots, then the white rabbit will show up. Click on him and it will automatically crate him (you might have to lasso him). Then bring you hero to the crate and have them click on the crate. It will automatically give the bunny to the man.

The silver ring is done when you mine enough silver. It looks like the little piles of gold except silver. Then you have to have a blacksmith and be sure someone is working there.

The black stalion comes when you build 5 stables

red flowers plant flowers then click to water them turning them red

RESCUE REDDS PARENTS

How to get the horses out:

You free the horses by having your good guys shoot at the water tower, it will drop parts when you distroy it and the parts land on the pressure plate that opens the gate to let the horses out.

Somthing Smells Good:

You gather firewood (don’t pick up the pile that is close to the bandits) until it says you have enough, then drag Redd to the camp fire that is at the top right of the screen at the bandit camp. This will cause more bandits to leave Redd’s parents.

Noisy distraction:

Use one of the dynomite’s that you picked in this quest to blow up the covered wagon.
Once you have done these tasks to draw away the bandits guarding Redd’s parents move your group to the wagon that Redd’s parents are trapped in and face down the kidnapper

How to get grape seeds for the winery:

Water the yellow planter flowers once and they turn red, again and they turn purple. You need three planter flowers to be purple before the lady will come into town to sell you the grape seeds. Once you plant a farm with grape seeds you will then be able to build

If you are a Sandbox player like me, then you might benefit from this:

Set up the lumber camp as soon as you start; then set up the general store to buy tree seeds and set up the trading post to sell wood. Then just buy tree seeds to grow more wood periodically and keep selling wood. It might sound like the dumb business to you: "Sell wood to buy more wood" - yet you can buy more than you sell. Soon you'll have enough finances to expand your town
