The game was ok but the one thing I didnt like is the fact that you can have only 1 ship unlike the other two versions,and compared to Tradewinds Legends the battles were pretty easy but the game was overall pretty good.
But if your just starting I'd go for Tradewinds Legends.

Very good game

Sandlot Games has out done themselves with the whole Tradewinds series. Tradewinds 2 is a best buy if your thinking about buying a game and havent tried this one than you should consider it. You will fall in love with this game as I did. Great for all ages. Dont forget to try Tradewinds Legends you wont regret it.

Overview:-
The concept of this game is to have a fortune of trading goods throught different locations from the world map, you will be asked to fulfill so tasks for a reward. you will also be facing some pirates along the way and you need to occupy yourself with weapons to beat the nasty pirates, if you fail you will lost the game, so you have to really work hard on trading to save up money and buy ships and weapons.
Comparision with the previous version:-
This game of course is an awesome game,but if I want to compare it with the first release the first one is much better, tradewind legends was superb in terms of music and the middle east characters which really added an exotic sense to such as having Ali Baba and Shahs. I didn't like the music in this one at all, it was so annoying to me I had to mute it while playing, but the first one had excellent sound, I also didn't like the map compared to the first one. If you play this one first you will not realize the difference, but if you played the first version you will know what i am talking about, also the graphics in this one aren't as good as the previous version. Overall it seems like an expansion of the first one. I also didn't face the errors I encountered in the first version which is a positive point for this one.

1.First try to buy a WAREHOUSE.thn store the contradict goods bought in the same port dring one month.then sell it in the same port when it is not available. 2.Dont invest too much in Banks.Try to invest much in Goods we will get much interest than investing in Banks. Good Luck!

First raise your money by storing contrabands in your warehouse and sell them when its the month of the contra band( you can learn the contraband month by buying drinks in the ale house) Then buy a bigger warehouse then when you reach like 300,000,000 million buy some dolls (especially the port authorithy ragdoll) Buy a ship with speed cannon Buy the shrink wand(to double your cargo) Buy some ragdolls... if you are uncertain that the ragdoll won't have an effect... save first before you buy(i only got two ragdoll puppet of a sailor and puppet of the banker) Buy items that can make the interest in the bank high(mine is now 3.50%) Invest in the bank when you're money is higher That's what i've done... my money is now 3 billion (i invested at the bank and traded contrabands to a port that has my warehouse and to other ports with the port authority ragdoll) and I have all the items...

TIP 1: the trader in Port Royal sells voodoo dolls and stuff, there's one which is only 10.000 it says " a merchant promised me this doll was enchanted" well it's not so don't waste your money. Tip 2: buying a ship ALWAYS check the attack speed, it's the most important thing while battling with pirates. make sure the ship's attack speed isn't less than 10 you get some kind of doll or a ring to increase it. Tip 3: while buying Tobacco and wine remember some places dont use it and if you go there with these goods they burn it or something. YOU LOOSE IT! Tip 4: make sure you check the people on your boat. they influence your ship or attacking speed a lot. this way you can renew their stay for 10 weeks or less. it helps! this is it for now :O)

Keep accepting a task and completing them apart from the last step so that you don't recieve the money. I did this and went around collecting the money from all the tasks and got loads of money.

the best way to earn money is buying allot of items for example at the fisrt starters port they ask for 1 fish 10 and you sell it back at another for 20 ( you can see if you win or lsoe money by looking at what color the sell price is ) that way you earn money to buy a better ship, cannons attack items and such
