Amazing
The Treasures of Montezuma is just amazing. Following the "mexican wave" of games like Aztec Bricks, the graphics and story are really interesting and the gameplay won't let you stop playing again and again. The special effects makes this game unique and the music is strong (a little bit like Jethro Tull's flute solos and rythms). A MUST HAVE. |

The treasure of The Treasures of Montezuma
This is my favorite match 3 or more game. The bonuses are what make this game a treasure. No other match game comes close. The bonuses are awesome! More games like this one would be nice because it differs from most of reflexive arcade games in that its no the same game with a new face like Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile, Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst, and Mysteryville. The Treasures of Montezuma has raised the bar for jewel match games. |

Great bonuses and hidden trophies
This game is one of the best match 3 games I've ever played - the bonuses are so cool, it has great replayability (well I'm gonna play it for a long time now). And contrary to some former reviewers not very hard. You just have to wisely use earned stars and focus on using totems during play. But I have one problem - I'm near the end but I have no idea what first trophy is given for ? Anybody knows ? I've got all but this one... Anyway simply astonishing game :) |

Treasures of Montezuma - Good-Better-The Best!
It's the best definition which describes this game.
How it's possible? I'll justify my opinion, but first - a short intruduction
So, the genre match-three games is very popular these days. Many games are released every month but this one is special. Why? Because of it's bonuses and totems which are a breath of fresh air in this genre
So, We've got five stony friends:) They help us finishing the levels and what can I say - they're really useful. Of course we have also plenty of other bonuses such as bombs, and other stuff
OK now I can say more about the topic "Good-Better-The Best":
What is the main advantage of this game is that the more You play it the more interesting and effective it becomes. It's caused by the totems and bonuses as I mentioned before. All of them can be upgraded and in the further levels You can perform very interesting actions such as destroying almost whole board, releasing all gems and placing anothers in the same time. I don't want to say more because I don't want to spoil Yours fun with revealing new bonuses:)
So, now it's time to rate:
Graphics - very good, beautiful explosions
Music - good, but I wish there could be more music tracks
Gameplay - GREAT
Length -about 5 hours, but after passing it at a normal difficulty You can try Yourself in hard mode; of course You can also try to gain all gold trophies |
