Went through a huge ordeal over nothing

When I saw this trivia game about the 80's I thought, 'what the heck, why not'. I had trouble downloading the demo version and after working out the kinks I was able to play.

I don't know why I keep forgetting that I'm very weak at trivia games. I try to give my brain some excercise but it just don't work.

Although I was raised in the 80's I have to say a lot of the questions on this game I couldn't answer. I guessed at so many questions that wondered if those events did happen in the 80's.

I never listened to INXS or got into Pee Wee's Playhouse and other trivia questions aboutsongs, movies and 80's version food??? So it was hard for me to enjoy the game. Especially when it asked questions like what year did the certain event take place. I was a kid in the 80's so trying to figure out what was done in 80-86 had me stumped.

I even don't know who Martha Quinn is!!!! Her voice over was sooo annoying that I didn't turn down my volume, I literally cut it off.

Now would I recommend this game to anyone? Yeah, for nostalgic memories if you're from the mid 70's to late 80's like me.

Bogus dude...

I spotted this game in one of my bored moments and thought "What the heck? I was born in the 80's, I'll give it a try". Was it worth it? Not really.

See, this is basically an 80's trivia game where all you do is answer questions about, you guess it, The 80's! Ranging from music, TV, movies and sport, you'll probably be able to answer a few of the questions but but certainly not all of them unless your an expert.

The difficulty level doesn't really apply either. A 'Hard' question such as 'What is the technology the Ghostbusters wear on their backs called?' is a sinch for anyone who's ever seen the movie. But an apparently easy one about music featuring in a film had me stumped as I'd never even heard of the movie.

Sound wise its cheesy. Thats the only word for it. And Martha Quinn's high pitched voice and popping up with random encouragement quotes gets tired quickly and after about 20 minutes was starting to give me a headache.

Playing on your own this games gets dull fast unless you love trivia quizes. I can see it lasting longer played with a group of friends. Even then its no good unless you've lived through at least part of the 80's. Anyone 17 or younger I doubt will be able to play this.

Graphically the games nothing special. Its well presented with nothing garish or badly pixelated, but theres nothing that'll make you go wow.

To sum up, if you like 80's movies, TV etc. You'll probably like this game. Want something retro for a party? Its worth a look. Have no interest at all in old music or movies, avoid this like the plague. It's a limited appeal game that while I enjoyed for a while, got boring quickly.

Now I remember why I didn't like Martha Quinn

For a trivia game it's OK. But after a while Martha Quinn gets on my nerves. I had to turn off the sound for a break.
