Not a bad game... but is a bit easy
This is a pretty good game. You control a tank with the arrow keys and fire with the control key. Along the way, you get the usual upgrades (speed, firepower, etc.) Of course if you get destroyed by another tank, you lose all of these and get to start over.
The graphics aren't bad, and the sound was appropriate. Despite all of this, I expected a little more. Most of the action games I've played from this site are either impossibly hard at the higher levels or maintain an almost to easy challenge. This one tends to be a little to easy. When your tank is fully upgraded, it is almost non-stoppable. Even the addition of pillboxes, etc, can't hide the fact that staying in one place almost guarantees a successful outcome. There are a few difficult scenarios, but most of them are pretty simple.
No save game, just passwords as you advance through the levels.
Overall, if you are looking to kill some time, this is a pretty good game to do it. Despite hoping for a little more, I enjoyed it. |

A nice clone of the classic NES game
I had the chance to play the full russian version of the game a few months ago.My first thought was "man this is some kind of TANKS clone" 'cuz in russian the game was called Tanchiki(tiny tank squad of small tanks i'm not quite sure my russian aint that good)and I was right,its the good old tanks I used to play on my nintendo,only with better graphics.
So TANK fans should really look forward to playing.
P.S. People with older video adapters may have some trouble(the game didnt work so well on my old Xabre with 64mb and v1.0 shaders) |

Don't be confused...
...after the install is finished, and it asks if you like to start the game, because it dosn't actually start. Instead it runs through several more operations like converting sound files and such, that quite frankly should have been part of the install process.
As far as the game goes, I can only say I liked it. Not much to really get excited about, but it's also not a bad game. |
