Unreasonably difficult.

This game starts out simple enough and is actually kind of a fun farm game. As a seasoned time management player, I quickly recognized the "plain, silver, gold" standard of "winning" a level. Unfortunately this game deviates from that standard in that you are not allowed to progress past a certain level without enough "gold" wins behind you. Silver is not enough, you have to actually have won every single level in gold before progressing past around the half-way point of the game.

This would not be a problem if gold were not so difficult to achieve on some levels. I re-played one level over 50 times and still could not achieve a gold score, so was unable to progress in the game despite having gold on every other level, and I am a seasoned gamer.

I was very disappointed and ended up trashing this game before finishing it.

Cute Game Shows Potential

I love time management games so naturally I had to try this one. It looked cute. That's where it ends.

The game is cute enough, the graphics are nice, and the idea is definitely something more challenging than the Alice Greenfingers games.

The music was just irritating, so I turned it off. The other sounds were just okay, nothing special.

Don't get me started on gameplay, because that is where this game falls short. The controls are easy to understand, but when you click... it doesn't register. Click click click and still it doesn't register. And no, my mouse is not dead, it's new. With that, introduce pests trying to eat your plants. Before you know it, you have gone passed the requirements for the different levels of winning (gold, silver, bronze). As the post before mine says, you have to have expert levels to advance.

In short, the game is cute, but not worth the money. It has the potential to be a great game, but it still needs some work. If you're looking for a fun farming game, try Alice Greenfingers 2.

Sunshine Acres

I usually love these types of games. This one however, is not up to Reflexive standards. If you don't recieve gold in all of the levels, you are unable to advance in the game. This is really annoying. They need to have the game situated where you at least have to get bronze to advance. I would not buy the full version, or tell anyone else to. This was a waste of my time, not only to download, but to play as well.
