Very enjoyable game
This is a very enjoyable game. It's not like a classic hidden objects game since the scenes aren't crawling with stupid items that would never be there in the first place - it's quite realistic, and you mostly have to find items that do make sense for the story. Some of the things you find have to be used as tools to discover the most important artefacts, and that is a nice twist.
The graphics are gorgeous, the music supports the story nicely without getting annoying, and the story - ok let's face it - the storyline is a bit weak. It's a bit confusing, it's not very logical, but it has a very satisfying ending. You do get the bad guy at the end, and that scene is very well done. It gave me an uplifting feeling - in stark contrast to the endings of the Dream Chronicles where the story is much stronger, but when you finish the game you get a kick in the shins because you haven't resolved anything. I won't play a game with a frustrating ending a second time, but I already know that I'll play SAMANTHA SWIFT and the GOLDEN TOUCH again. |
