Very well-made game with fantastic graphics.

I feel that THIS is what hidden object games should be like. While 'Romance of Rome' still has the typical cluttered scenes, you won't find yourself staring at objects that are completely out of place for the theme of the game. In other words, you won't be asked to look for telephones and paperclips and things like that.

An interesting feature is that you are never told in words what to look for... you are always given pictures. In spite of this, the challenge level remains similar to that of games that give you a list of words. I liked the added challenge of having to find special objects to interact with special objects (break open a vase, etc.).

The story is well done, too, or at least it's as good as any story you're ever likely to see in a casual game. It made sense and was amusing. The voice-overs were a wonderful touch, and the voice acting was high quality.

My only complaint is that it was a bit too easy, but since I play a lot of HOGs I guess I tend to think they're all easy. Anyway, this was extremely fun, with fantastic graphics and a good story, so I highly recommend this game and wish there were more like it!
