What a Game!

This was the first game I bought from Reflexive and I was addicted! I couldn't leave it for anything...well, not anything!
Seriously, I played this game until way early in the morning when I first got it! I was so excited to find a game that I really, really liked. It was a challenge, but I finally made it, but it was even more fun when I went back through.
So, this game and all the Richochet's are great to have, my favorite is "Lost Worlds."

I'm Lovin' It

Ricochet Xtreme is like the classic brickout game given an extremely amazing, graphical and gameplay makeover, it was one of the best brick-busting games since it was released, until its predecessor Ricochet Lost Worlds became available for sale on the Internet.

The best thing about this game is its gameplay, the game just doesn't let you do plain boring brick-busting by hitting the ball on the correct spot, there are tons of power-ups which increase the thrill and fun, such as the ball split powerups, which divide your ball into a certain number of more balls, or the ball power-ups, like the fire ball, which allows you to make the ball go thorough as many blocks there are until there are no more in your path. There are not only ball power-ups, but also power-ups for your bouncer, which looks more like a ship. Some of them are the magnet, which keeps the ball stcuk on the bouncer until you click, and then there are the 'weapons', which make two gun pods on the left and right of your ship which allow you to shoot an unlimited amount of bullets at the bricks, which will destroy them on impact.

There are many challenging and creative levels, some levels have the bricks taking the shape of a ship, or a duck, with the dynamic backgrounds giving it a more interesting touch.

This is one of the best brick-busting games ever. Ricochet live on!

Ricochet Xtreme - is part of the "benchmark" series that sets the standards

Ricochet Xtreme and all the "Ricochet" games by Reflexive are the measuring stick we all use to rate other break out games. You know that it's a five star game before you start. No one loads or builds a game page like Ricochet Extreme. There are add ons and enhancements and forums because this is a gamer's game for sure. Any online arcade showcasing other designer's games want to have Ricochet in their package.

Just go ahead and download it, if you haven't already. Knock out as many levels as you can in the first 60 minutes because these are the levels you have to choose from in the two minute version you'll have left after the demo. No reason to feel guilty about keeping the two minute version...because, eventually you will want to buy this game. It takes about five minutes to decide that you definitely want this and all of the "Ricochet" games in your private library of games.

The program runs smooth. The machine I have now is fast, but, I've played games from this series on a 256 memory machine with no trouble. By the way, the balls in the opening screen letter R can be controlled by your mouse. See if you can get all the balls over to the left side of the R. Even trickier try to get all the balls into the right leg of the R. It's amazing the things you figure out when you are not on line and want to play a used up demo. What more can I say? The game demo is fantastic and worth your time.
