Breakout Like Never Before

After I had played the Ricochet series, none of the other breakout games on Reflexive actually held my attention. Ricochet was an extremely well crafted game.

N then along came Reaxxion. At first glance, I didn't think I'd like it n so didn't even bother downloading. But as I had exhausted the others, I decided to give this small game a try. N what can I say, Its got me hooked to it.

With an amazing set of brightly neon color containers (I guess), this game was simply awesome. An orange tube to create a "Reaxxion" n a blue tube to get a power-up ... now this is amzing stuff ... coz this means that u dont have to rely on bricks giving u powerups.

The "Reaxxion" could either hive u a power-up upgrade or an extra life, depending on what percent of the bonus level u complete. The most fun thing is, u generate the balls, n hence u lose ur life only if u run out of the metal paddle; a beauty of an innovation.

An amzing sountrack that makes u keep goin ... I especially loved the times when "Reaxxion" was announced n even the announcing of the secret challenge level, which u get after u have collected 25 plasma spheres.

The bosses are an awesome lot too. Play it n I don't regret payin a penny for the game.

The graphics get a 5 star as they were what attracted me to the game in the first place. N even after the powerups the balls look beautiful.

The sound gets a rating of 5. Amazing background sounds keep you hooked n give u a feeling that u r actually IN the game.

The gameplay gets a 5 star rating. A never before gameplay with self ball creation n the concept of "Reaxxions" was amzing stuff for me.

Overall, if u even like breakout games, give this game a try. Of all the games in the site, this is the best, N i mean it.

REAXXION - It's like candy for your mind

The "Breakout" style game has become a staple of online game production studios. This is for good reason, the "fast-twitch" response style of games make for very immersive entertainment. A lot of crummy clones little this genre here on Reflexive.com, and on the internet in general. Because of this it is pretty rare that I even try them, even when free demo's are provided.

Break Quest , another game on the Reflexive site has long been my very favorite "Breakout" style game. It has great graphics and sound and a few twists that really made it stand out. I honestly never thought I would see a better "Breakout" style game produced.....

Then came REAXXION.

This game is truly a gem. The gameplay is spectacular, smooth , fluid , fast and extremely fun. The whole concept of "liquid metal" adds a very new twist to the old concept of "breakout" that really creates a dramatic change in the game dynamic. It is basically a health-meter in disguise. I love it!

The graphics are superb. Very simple little gif images that resemble christmas lights arranged into very interesting patterns and shapes against slick looking , futuristic techno backgrounds. there is even some motion in the backgrounds , just enough to make them come alive , without ever interfering with the gameplay.

The techno-trance music is top notch and really gets you into the mood the game creates. the sound effects are also top of the line and really add a lot to the already excellent package.

This is a great game and certainly worth trying out. I have a free game coming from reflexive and this is probably going to be it.

REAXXION!

This is unlike any breakout game I've seen, most breakout games are just average bounce the ball -- hit the bricks. This one takes the meaning of break out and adds TONS of new twists. Your paddle is like a liquid metal board, and the amount of metal you have, will determine the size of the ball you can make.

There are 10 stages per level, at the end of each level you will have a showdown with a 'boss' and what it basically is, is pong. You will have to defeat the boss by getting the ball past him and keep doing that until he runs out of liquid, but be careful, because you also can run out and loose!

Each level has two 'stations' where you have to get your ball inside the tube, and if you get it in one of them it will give you a power-up, which there are about 8 - 10 different power-ups. The other 'station' is where the 'reaction' happens, if you get three balls in there, it will cause a reaction, 7 balls will come out of the tubes and then about 5 - 7 plasma Spheres appear, and you want to get all of them, because once you get 25 of them over the levels, you will be taken to a secret challenge level! Where you will be given 2 sets of bricks to hit in a minute, if you hit them all you will level up a power up!

This game is very fun and has a lot of awesome features! I am hooked to this game! I am recommend buying it!

I loved the graphics, the bright vibrant colors and the awesome 3D looking backgrounds and everything! The effects in this game are amazing. 5 Stars

Sounds:
The sounds were awesome as well, the speaker kind of sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger a bit. 5 Stars

Gameplay:
Awesome gameplay, easy to learn, and you shouldn't have any problem learning to play! 5 Stars

Overall:
This game meets all my requirements! 5 Stars

try get your 5 spheres in every lvl get your upgrades in the first lvls els it gets to hard try end a lvl with 2 balls in your sphere holder
