Not as challenging at first.....

A challenge was something I didn't think this game had at first. It was too easy to clear a board. It didn't start to get hard for me until the forth level. Then I saw how they were going to make the game hard. Adding those extra bits that stick out on the sides and on the bottom.

There are tons of things to help you finish a broad. Most of them seem to just pop-up out of nowhere for me. One or so I can make for myself. Seeing how they stopped time for you was cute. A frog drinks the water.

This could be a good game for a number of people. One, they have to like flash. This game is pretty. So the graphics are very good as far as I'm concerned. I like the sounds, and the game over all.

Game play seems too easy at times, and lucky for me, there are times when I need it to be that easy since I'm playing it the hard way.

This game is good for when you are really tired of loosing lives and you are banging your head on the wall of some level in 7 Wonders like my mom is at this moment. Or it could be for your kid who wants to play the 3 match games that you have but they are just to hard for them. Or this can be a good starter game for someone who can't get the 'older' 3 match games ... yet. *grin*

As for me. It's going to be my playtime game for when I want to play a game, and not really break a sweat. But I don't think that, that will hold up when I get to the higher levels. :/

Only a bit different

The gameplay is the same but with different icons, different music and different sounds. The layout of the gameboard are the same as most if the match-3 games, but instead of removing goldtiles you must fill the gameboard with goldtiles.

Powerups are almost the same as others, except for one powerup, something flying, which is fun. Obsticles, sure, some webs and vines, not much to say about that, as far I could play. Clean, crisp graphics, with nice background, non-intruding music, and good sound.

Rainforest Adventure is a good enough game, but it did not give me that feeling of something exceptionell.

Bit of a shocker

Ok, I admit, when I saw the screenshots I thought this game would be a no-brainer.

Boy was I shocked.

It's like Bejeweled but with a great twist. You have to make matches to where the whole grid goes gold before time runs out.

This is where the hard part comes in. The time where you think you have a strategy, there's those doggone corners that gets missed. Thank goodness there's power ups to help you but if you use it sooner than later, you're done.

I have to admit this is a little hard on the eyes as far as colors go. As usual I did have my sound turned down because I always do.

Try this game and see if it's easy to play or not. You will be severely fooled like I was.
