Much more than just a puzzle solving game
I am sure that most of those who would try this game will agree with me that it isn't just a puzzle solving game where you have to match three or more tiles to clear the board, it has a fantastic gameplay, the music suits the locations specified and most of all the graphics areexcellent.
The concept of this game is to find hints and items from the suspect and fly from a location to another closer to the items you found earlier in order to narrow your suspect list and bust the criminal who stole the popular diamond who is a member of an international gang stealing diamonds.
You will have so much fun, you will not believe how the time passed ! I just completed the trial version and I am seriously thinking of purchasing it, at last I found an amazing game which I will play over and over without getting bored! in fact there is no chance to feel slightly bored, you will get so hooked you'd switch off your cell phone and keep everyone away so you can play.
overall, brilliant game and they had put so much into it in terms of idea, graphics and entertainment!the story is also so much fun, I am not a big fan of reading story line, I just skip it, but this one made me want to read the funny comments by the chief officer who guide you through your cases, and most of all you get higher ranks as you bust more criminals. |

Fantastic Twist for the Match-three Genre
By far one of the best twists for the match-three genre I've yet to see. Personally, I found this one much more engaging than Diamond Detective--it was challenging, without being so hard it made me want to give up.
I definitely recommend giving it a try!
(I play with the sound off, so I can't give a yeah or nay to that.) |

Low Replay Value
Admittedly, this is a new twist to the match-3 game. However, some of the groups of clues were confusing. It wasn't difficult to figure out if you're an advanced gamer, but a beginner would probably find it confusing...
It was even quite enjoyable at some point because it was like a simpler version of where in the world is Carmen San Diego and I finished most of the levels quite quickly. But as soon as I found all the 10 jewelry pieces, I found that I didn't want to play it again.
Wish it had more twists for more replay value... |

Like another game
I think the designers did a good job of combining Carmen Sandiego-type game play with match-3. I didn't find it very engaging, however.
You match three around random tiles that turn gold and get a "clue". You do that a few times and then you get to either guess at where the criminal went or use the clues to eliminate suspects.
It wasn't very hard and I agree with others that the graphics weren't anything to get excited about either. You can click through all the fodder-animations between levels (ie the map with the plane that sloooowly flys across the screen)
Good if you like mindless fun where not much analytical though demanded from you. |
