Game Agents is catching up...

I can really say that Game Agents is catching up...(with PlayFirst, PopCap, Gamenauts, Gamehouse and Reflexive) in terms of producing really great, sensible and very original games.

They started out as quite a producer of games which lacks something(e.g. Paparazzi, Hidden Secrets: The Nightmare, Escape the Museum...) but it seems that they really learn from the responses of gamers (like me) after they release Book of Legends. Then followed by Adventure Chronicles(although I didn't really like this one but reviews say it was good) and now Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse!

First thing: I find the story catchy, although not really witty. But I love the locations and the graphics... almost real! A fairy guiding me all the way was also lovely, plus she also gets to have some magical powers which was helpful.

And of course, the music and sound effects simply melts in the background as I continued to play wandering around the castle, undoing cursed rooms, doing the puzzles, saving the people of the castle from being trapped in mirrors.

The thing I loved it the very original ending... battling the witch in a hidden object showdown (looking for ingredients to make a potion in the game)!

With this I can finally say that Game Agents has already caught up! Cheers!

Very nice graphic

the game isn't too hard, you can march on without much difficulties. I like the graphic, very nice details and color. game play is smooth, combined with a few popular mini games(you'll find out in the game), sounds are up to usual standards. I made it to the 4th mirror in the trial download and finished the game later. It was worthy playing.

The magical Waterloo

Princess Isabella, a classical name, and so the witch is sure to follow. Nonetheless, if I could have it my way I would put this right on the top of the PC game chart for Reflexive arcade.

The graphics is pretty realistic, and carefully constructed with many details. The intro cutscene had the character seems a bit stiff in terms of movement, but I cold get around that and it didn't bother me as much. Most of the scene had a cursed mode and uncursed mode so it felt like you're actually making a difference.

The game play is what impress me the most; the faerie power adds a whole new perspective to game play that requires player to actively look for interactive object to use those powers on. And after collecting all those items, you'll need to use several items in order to gain access to a new area- sometimes the game will even put you up to a little challenging puzzle to gain certain items. A pity that the developers had to slip up on the last moment; during the very last level the player was abruptly given a time limit unlike before, probably the developers' attempt to make it seem like a boss fight (it even put up a health bar), but I felt that the developers could put a few of this during the later levels to give the player a little practice so the experience could be more settling.

To sums it up, if you like using your head or wants to use you head then gives this game a go. It will definitely be a pleasant experience for you.
