THE DELIVERY IS IN THE GAMEPLAY

It's the ONE time you don't get to say "oh, not another one of THOSE". Within its genre, Pizza Chef is unrivaled in originality, and mixes ingredients from various games with modesty and class.

I was really ready to back right out, I really thought this would be a clone of Burger Rush laced with annoying accordion music and flinging around pepperoni.. but it was a matter of seconds until the game convinced me otherwise. The delivery has often been the main point of focus when addressing a Pizza game, but Pizza Chef takes another route through an avenue that isn't typically "action packed"

What happened next was an new approach to tile surface coverage: A PURPOSE. As you make matches in Pizza Chef, the areas in which you've made matches become a heated/active part of your grill/oven on which you then place the customer's Pizzas that vary in size. This is a welcome mix of tile matching and grid geometry that really creates a nice duality to the game, quite a few notches up from Zodiac Tower's Tetris approach.

Though the upgrade system is laid out almost identically to Burger Rush, Pizza Chef differs from other restaurant themed games: your clicks won't be wasted collecting cash from the customers. The focus is on gameplay and getting the stuff out the door.

There's some really nice add-ons and in-betweeners gameplay, but I won't spoil it for anyone. To me, this is definitely one of the better titles to come out this first quarter.

What an amazing game!!

Okay, at first I didn't think that I would be into this game. I don't like playing games where you have to match three or more things in a row...but this game proved other wise. I like how it has a Diner Dash or Cake Mania feel to it where you have to take orders, while you need to keep the burners on to cook pizzas, and other snacks. As you progress through the levels, it gets harder and the bigger the pizza, the more burners are needed. The bonuses are hard sometimes because they actually made me think in order to solve them (not all bonuses are the same). You can upgrade as well, but the more upgrades you get, the higher the price.

The graphics are great. There isn't much action and it doesn't jump from one scene to another, like other games do. The sound is okay...it does repeat a lot but you can turn it off.

Overall I recommend this game who enjoys matching and the Diner Dash and Cake Mania series. Give this game a chance...I did and I'm hooked now!!!

Like it!

I don't mind match 3 games and thats what i thought this was, but with a pizza twist, and what a twist it is! You match 3 or more and by doing so, you make that area light blue and that let's you cook the pizza your customer at the counter wants. The line keeps filling up and you need to match toppings in order to cook pizzas and keep your customers happy! With the money you make you can get upgrades and new pizza recipes. It's fun, try it!

One way to ensure you get enough money (but only can be used at later stages when you can cook treats like fries, etc) is when you have one last customer, instead of making his or her pizza, keep making lots and lots of treats instead and charge up your coffee maker to keep them happy by making matches. The treats will earn you money in the final total even if they aren't ordered! You will never want for cash again!
