From yay to nay

This games starts out pretty awesome, you get to decorate your shop, upgrade items as you go, wash the pets, battle the "evil Petcorp" by trying to buy out all it's buildings. But after you get about 4 or 5 buildings, you're really just doing the same thing over and over and over...it gets way too repetitive and I never actually finished the game because it got sooo boring. One thing that really bothered me was the pet's never changed - they came in looking fine and clean and left the same way. It would have been nice to see you were actually making a difference, might have made the game more interesting if they started adding different kinds of pets - like birds and hamsters or something as you progress. Overall, wasn't too bad - but it could have been much better.

Almost There

This game is really interesting when you first play it, because the graphic is consider one of the best! But when you play through the game! I guess there are a few flaws to it!
Firstly - Clicking of the actions
Sometimes it does not take in whatever that was clicked and therefore i end up clicking it a few times and the action was hence repeated, losing the bonus
Secondly - The concept is the same, you kept doing the same thing over and over again until u earn enough to take over the big posh building!
Thirdly - There no changes and the pets are the same when they came in and throughout the whole game! There is nothing to look forward to after the next few shops that you kinda buy!
It gets boring and I lose all my patience to take over the big building!
These are a few flaws that i stumble upon overall it is still entertaining once in a while!

3d gets in, all the fun gets out...

At first, while I was downloading the trial version of this game, I was thinking that this one could be a breakthrough indeed: Judging by the screenshots, the graphics were 3d, and this was great news...

On the other hand, the idea of a time management game in a salon, was old. After Sally's Salon, it would be kind of the same thing, only with pets.

Finally, after having played the game for 30 minutes and quit even before the trial version was over (that's also new!), I have to say that I haven't enjoyed the game. And I'll tell you why.

Positive points:

  • 3d graphics! For Sims fans, you will definately like what you'll see. (Although I suppose that, one of the numerous expansions of this game, will already have involved pets! :P)
  • Limitless customizing! You can do whatever you want with your shop! Paint the walls (there are MANY colors available), change the floor (with a lot of different tiles), buy furniture, upgrade your equipment... Just let your imagination do the rest.
  • Not great difficulty completing assigned tasks (and not great challenge for the trained players either!)

    Negative points:

  • This game is SLOOOOOW... While you wait for the main character to actually move her hand, you can prepare your dinner, wash your hair, or watch your favorite TV show! And it takes time to have the pets washed or do their haircut also. It was supposed to get better after upgrading your equipment, but either I am too impatient, or the improvement was too little.
  • I have completed a week so far, and the pets seem to be all the same: I mean, there are no strange pet owners, impatient or demanding ones. They are all the same, and it gets boring.
  • Although the graphics were supposed to be the clue, nothing changes in the pet's appearance, after your treatment.
  • You don't seem to have any goal. Ok, you are supposed to take over the great Pet Corp, but every level is the same, only with more clients.

So, how about getting an actual pet instead?

Why would you do that? On the easier levels not alot customers come in so you don't get the opportunity to make a lot of money. Remember, the more customers - the more money! I have another suggestion. Put about 4 types of one station and 4 of another OR three types of each *NOTE* don't use the pink one as any of the stations - takes too long. Anyways, just roll with that. You'll lose about 5 or 6 customers but eventually the customers will catch on on what services are available and what are not. (Smart!) So, at the end you'll end up making about $10,000+ as opposed to $20,000+ when you use all stations. The problem with using all stations is the switching - too much stress. Do this in the harder levels, so the customers will keep coming. More customers - more money. I hope this tip helps other people.

When I earn enough money to open a new salon, I usually sell out all the stations and chairs (too bad you can't fire the helper) This provides me with money to buy and upgrade the stations (and chairs)in the new salon. Since you can't have less than 2 stations heres what you do: Sell some of the stations, when there is about four left, buy 2 red stations ('cause they're the cheapest) and don't upgrade. Then continue selling all the upgraded stations. When you move to a new location, the customers will expect all stations, you don't have to start over from square one. If you want to play in a lower level afterwards, just use the cash in hand. You don't have to sell anything in your current shop. That's what I do and once I'm finished, I just sell them then return to my current shop. It's no biggie. (Although, I wish you could sell all the shops you own to put towards that last shop, I dunno how I'm gonna make 1 million dollars...)If you want to start over in every new shop, that's fine. When everything in a salon is upgraded, it might come up to $68,050 depending on the stations you have (I use 2 of everything except yellow)So, that's money wasting there if you just keep it in a shop. It is important to note: Do not sell your stations to make up the difference to buy a new salon. Then when you buy the salon you'll have to start from scratch. Sell everything after you have bought the new salon. Good Luck!
