mushroom age

This is a great game and very good value. Graphics are very good and some of the puzzles are very challenging. I enjoyed every minute of it. Storyline is well worth reading and as I like fantasy just up my street. One of the best games I have played recently. By the way I thought you might like to know I am 70..... I love Reflexive.

King of All Games Random and Bizzare

I can imagine the conversation that went on between the developers:"so what do you reckon rules the Earth one hundred million years from now on?" - "I dunno, mushrooms?" And there we have it, this highly random, bizzare and thoroughly enjoyable game. That is, if you take everything with a pinch of salt.
What you are going to get, is a Eienstein wannabe Professor with a really bad Dutch accent, a girl who just sounds dreamy most of the time, a talking dinosaur that's actually quite cute, naked Socrates asking for a massage, Nostradamus telling you that you are going to be his next wife in a failed prediction, giant mushrooms taking over the professor's body, and finally your own fiancée losing his mind and telling you "they don't know how to make omelettes in the Jurassic Period". And that's a clue.
This is the only game which I have actually laughed out loud while playing, some of the dialogue is just ace. The storyline and the weirdness of it all actually outshines the gameplay itself, (it tells you there is going to be a WWIII and then end of the world!) it's not too hard, and the minigames are not repetitive. In fact, they've made quite innovative changes to them, so instead of a normal rememberall game, you have to massage Socrates naked body, or to floss the professor's mind to get rid of his anxiety (while the picture of his wife sailing into the sunset played over and over again - quite eerie I must say) these things I'm sure you won't forget any time soon after playing.
The graphics are very good, perhaps not as perfect as Dream Chronicles but certainly of a high standard, and the music is non-intrusive. I enjoy watching the time vortex at the end of each level too. OK, the dinosaur roars like a human, then starts to talk like a human, but, compared to everything else in the game, you'd hardly find that surprising.
Go ahead and give it a try, consider this a wacky version of Dream Chronicles - with a good sense of humour you'd enjoy this as much as I
