Excellent, imaginative, addicting!

Well, that's new! Fever Frenzy was the first one to show that, in this games category, you don't always need to be a restauranteur to have fun. This game, Miss Management, evolves the whole idea into something even more entertaining: You can be an office manager! Wow!

At first, I was deceived by the title: I thought that the "management" thing was like every other "tycoon" type of game... You know, like Coffee Tycoon, or Lemonade Tycoon... Just sitting them and watching money increase or the opposite. Nevertheless, this game is nothing like that. You can talk to people, do many different things, lead a whole team, fulfil various tasks, please your employees to raise their morale, and so much more.

Positive points:

  • This is a new idea!
  • The graphics are nice (a bit "Dinner Dash"-y) and the music is ok.
  • The gameplay is fantastic! Level by level, the game gets more demanding, you have more tasks, more extras to buy and help you, the work environment gets better all the time... You cannot stop playing, because you want to discover everything!
  • There are main tasks, and optional ones. It is your choice, whether you want to spend more time playing the game and get into it, or do just the basics.

    Negative points:

  • This game is soooo addicting! Before you install it in your computer, finish your papers and cancel your dates. You will forget all about time. OH, GOD, I HAVE ALREADY MISSED AN APPOINTMENT! :P

I've said enough. One more word: This game is FUN!

    Amazingly amusing!

Being a fan of Diner Dash like games, I too thought this would be one of many others that have been showing up, all looking a bit alike. I was thrilled to find out that it is not.

MM has a unique story, gameplay and challenges. It is probably the most complete management-like game I have ever played.

The plot is funny, I would not say hilarious, but definitely very funny, especially because you start finding personality traces in the characters which you can find in every office! Everyone has a bossy colleague, a flirty one, a hard working one… and so on. I also found myself empathizing towards some of the characters and wishing I could slap some of the others, which shows how into the game I got!

And while on Diner Dash you had that BLESSED podium, here you don’t. You have to keep all those characters working along each others for days and days, avoiding conflicts, distributing tasks and allowing them to do the activities they like to avoid stressouts.
Every single character has likes and dislikes, but what one of them loves, usually all the others hate, so while you are giving someone a rest, you are also increasing stress in someone else: for example Timothy loves to cook beef stroganoff to distress (who would remember to cook THAT in an office????), which makes almost everybody furious with the smell (which I can perfectly understand…).

Finally, you have multiple objectives per level that always differ from the previous ones (which is also a breath of fresh air to the usual cash objective of this kind of game). After you complete the main objectives, you get secondary objectives too, that are optional, and finally, you are too awarded of an extra star if you can manage to finish all the objectives in a given number of days (which was my personal biggest challenge).

I have to end my review saying that this IS currently my favorite management game, due to everything that I wrote above, and for providing me with hours of great entertainment.

    Definitely not as I expected

When I first downloaded the game I was all into a Diner Dash related game but after playing the first level I was given a whole different perspective to what I thought.

Miss Manangement is a interactive game between the characters. The challenges are quite challenging as you have to manage between the stress level and the time. It's also quite fun to see the characters likes and dislikes and some of their reactions.

Miss Management is not like any game I've seen before, it'a got a whole different plot with a whole different setting of the game.

    A few tips
  • Winston is the only person who doesn't get stressed by doing purple tasks even though he's good at it. Tara & Mahavir are alrite at it, yet they don't like it. So, if Luke's not there, give it to Winston.

  • There are a lot of levels where no one cares if Mahavir is sleeping!

Dont try all tasks at the same time, but try how to do it fast and easy with some combination of 2 tasks...
