Best of Its kind...

Mexican Motor Mafia is a cross between the original GTA and RC Pro-Am (NES) with RPG elements thrown in to keep the progess you make interesting.

First you travel along a map of Mexico looking for random auto battles that can result in cash and loot or drive to specific towns on the map in order to obtain "jobs" that move the comic-book plot along and Pit you against various members (ie. mini-bosses) of a gang that killed your brother.

The real star of this game it the dynamic control and feel of the different cars you drive and the different weapons that you fire out of each side window.

I never got bored with the action, even though the mini-maps where the action takes place become repetitive. I would have liked to had a better variety of weapons to choose from like a flame-thrower for example but the bomb-laden RC cars was a nice touch.

Oh yeah...the music is top-notch SW rock reminiscient of the soundtrack for the Tarrantino/Rodriguez film: From Dusk 'Till Dawn. I highly recommend this game for those who appreciate the mouse/keyboard controls of games like Crimsonland. I DEMAND MMM 2!!!

Simple but Addictive

At first I was thrown off a bit by the simplistic interface and seemingly unpolished artistic look of this game. But after giving it about 20 minutes of time I was able to appreciate the simple design and the creativity in the storytelling.

The gameplay consists of traveling a map of mexico stopping in towns to pickup quests. The actual combat gameplay is driving a top down car race and shooting other cars out one of your two windows (which can be assigned increasingly powerful weapons as you earn money by completing tasks and collecting items from random road victories).

Overall its a brilliant combination of an old school top down racer, role playing character growth, and a cool artistic story telling style I havent seen since Full Throttle.

This is definitely one of those games you should check out because it shows a lot of creativity and originality that you dont see much of these days.

I fought the mob and.... I won

A fun and enjoyable game.
The controls using the keyboard and mouse can be annoying but by switching between total mouse movement control for gettinf around the map screen and keyboard and mouse for fight scenes (F2 or F3 I can't remember which offhand) an make the world of a difference.
The storyline is kinda cool and having a choice of which missions to take and when halps greatly in gameplay.

I give it a two thumbs up, I prefer this to GTA any day

Take your distances. If you have a lot of guys against you, try to kill them one by one. Pay attention to your life bar, after a battle, always go to the car shop and repair you.

Hi, it's me again.
At the last level, you are going to defeat the priest. When you are at the boneyard, you will see some cars and the a purple car that throws rockets. That's the priest.
To defeat him you must only use shooting guns, ONLY!

If you lose a battle, don't get out of the combat scene yet; quit the game while you're still in there(no save quiting), and things'll be as it was before when you're back. And you'll never lose doing this.

Although it's a little trick, but you may wanna do this in arena battle, where stays the toughest opponent in the game('Special K', who shoots the hell loads of rocket launcher). That you'll have to wait a week later or so for a chance to fight in arena again if you lose.

How to make money with the trade function
Did you guys notice that the price of parts in the Trade Store of each area are different, so we can make this to our advantage by buying from the store with low price and sell those parts to the store with the high price. Hope this help ^^
