Very nice indeed!

The very point of Mahjongg is to match pairs of tiles and clear the gameboard. I have played many different mahjongg ( is it not just mahjong?) games and some have not been nice or very playable, but this one certinaly is!

Excellent story, great graphics and perfect playability!

A must have for all us mahjong(g?) lovers!

One of the better Mahjonggs

To me Mahjongg doesnt have to try to be something its not, to me Mahjonng is the ultimate in just a relaxing game. This is the only type of game that I look to graphics and/or sound before gameplay because ,IMO, basic traditional Mahjongg gameplay is what makes it such a relaxing, and pleasing experience...really doesnt need improvement.

Great game but the Endless mode is a killer!

My wife loved Mahjong Artifacts 1, and so we bought this one, the 2nd installment. Once again very good, but I think the creators tried to mimic other Mahjong games with the different "special" tiles - in this version you need to collect pearls to use the undo, hint and shuffle features, and the special tiles consist of a magnet (to draw another tile to another location), a "lifter" (that lifts a blocked tile to the surface), a "cyclone" (that randomly swirls a group of tiles), a "swapper" (to interchange the position of two adjoined tiles), and a tile that inserts a pearl into any tile you choose.

These special tiles aren't nearly as flexible as the ones in Mahjong Artifacts 1, and although this is OK in the Quest mode, it makes the Endless Mode almost impossible if you wish to clear 100 layers (my wife cleared 247 layers in the Endless Mode in Mahjong Artifacts 1, but has struggled to reach level 70 in this version). I wonder if the creators had anyone beta test the game for this? Has anyone else been able to do it? It's a pity you can't "save" some of the special tiles in some kind of reserve tile bank in this Endless mode so as to use in later layers when they are really needed. Not only that, but the shuffle feature is very costly (you need to have saved 16 pearls - it should really cost 12 at most to be fair imho)

There's another fault also in a few of the "Classic" levels whereby free tiles are located underneath other tiles - the "hint" feature reveals a free tile's location, but you can't even click on it! Frustrating - you have to start the level over and hope for luck to prevent this occurring.

I hope the creators make a 3rd installment to the series as the graphics are excellent and it's one of the best looking mahjon games available, but I hope they address the gripes I mention above.
