Good humor for more experienced players.

The game itself, is fun, strategic, yet repetitive... It's a real time strategy, which you have to try to set up at army to defeat the waves of enemies that are coming at you. The graphics are quite nice for such a small scale game, in my opinion. The sound effects are quite humorous, but they do get a bit old fast. You have about 2-3 voice overs for the characters, and as your clicking on them over and over to assign them tasks.... what once was funny, turns into a very annoying thing. (It's almost like getting married). The humor in the game is probably not something that young teenagers that will see as humorous... but for an older generation who has played games like this one for years, they would probably appreciate the humor... and it is quite humorous. All in all it's a good game to take a break from other bigger ones you may be playing, although not something I felt the need to finish as soon as possible.

Not bad, but not good either

Kingdom Elemental is a 3D strategic game which is about buying and uprading soldiers, then send them to fight some wierd monsters.

At the beginning of each level, you are given an amount of money to buy troops with, and for each wave you complete, you receive an unlock point which lets you to research new units or upgrade the existing ones. The upgrades are really innovative, such as increasing a unit's speed or give it a special attack etc.

The battle part is rather epic, you can move your units, select their target and order them to use skills. Those skills maybe inflict extra damage or heal an ally. During combat you can always pause the game and make commands without time pressure. Sometimes there are bosses in wave, and they are really hard to defeat which add challenges to the game.

Those are the good sides of the game, but to me there are also a lot of bad things to be said.

The audio is... especially the character voice overs are quite annoying, like the cleric, his voice is wierd.

And, does this game have any stories or plots? Not much as I notice. Some lengthy paragraphs read out by a narrator, and the subtitles are out of phase with the sound... no good plots I must say.

And the biggest problem of all, is the combat control. Combat system is quite good, but it is too hard to control. I have problems in selecting individuals, as well as ordering units to execute special moves (sometimes things happen too fast that I can't pause in time). The camera angles are also troublesome, I have troubles when playing the second map, which I cannot see the whole battlefield clearly. A good game should be user-friendly, and this game is not :(

And the Blood and Gore problem... though it can be reduced by ticking blood off in the options.

Overally, I don't like this game much. Fun it can be, but hard to play and a bit annoying with the sounds and blood. Could be better if it has a select and control system like those in RTS games.

Kingdom Elemental

I too encountered control issues, but I was happy to have learned that it was simply just me. A Huge tip to those playing this, if you want your skill/action to be successful, make sure your arrow is highlighted green! (Especially useful for Necromancer Skeleton summon, or healing/ressurecting) The arrow is not necessarity green simply by hovering the mouse over the corpse! Use the pause feature and find the proper hotspots! You'll thank yourselves. Voiceovers were somewhat annoying to hear them repeat their same phrases with every click (micromanaging nightmare) but the narrator was really funny, and a joy to listen to. I'm new to the MMO type genre, so this game whet my knowledge on different classes somewhat. The skirmish are tough, and can really be beaten "a certain way", but the campaign can be beaten using any of your favorite classes, but still requires some proper combos. The paladins and healing bards are what is needed! GG! Oh, and where is WIK 2??????
