Not as bad as everyone is making it out to be...

Yet another edition to the 'Dash' and 'Mania' series. But I must say, it is not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. But I do agree that it is very slow paced, and kinda boring. But its the kind of game that takes a while to get into.

I must also write about the disturbing commentary from the customers after receiving their ice cream. Make sure you put the volume down to zero when that happens!

At the moment I am at Level 15, and I feel like things are heating up... a bit. But seriously, people should give the game a try! It's not that bad!

Could have been a scoop but ended up a bit flaky

Look and feel
The graphics of this game are certainly a plus. Even the background imagery was interesting. I did find the voice overs a tad disturbing though.

Gameplay
I really love time management games and expected this one to be similar to cake mania. Being a fan of these games however I found this one took far too long to get going. After the first couple of levels you are given the option of buying upgrades but i think the seasoned player will find these are not enough. This game had a great concept but failed to deliver on speed and action. Theres lots of games out there like this one and it certainly doesn't stand out from the crowd.

Recommendation
I'd only recommend this game to those gamers who are new to the genre otherwise stay well clear

Repetition...

It would be probably a great game if this wasn't so repetitive... This is a great idea at first, like Dinner Dash, Burger Shop and other games like that, but no... Graphics are ok, but there's so storyline, no interaction. At least if there was some upgrades at each level it would more addictive or less repetitive. Unfortunately, it became boring after 3 levels.

At the beginning of each level, take the time to make your own sundae or cone, with any ingredients that you like, to put on your display stand. There will be a customer who will order your special creation before the level is over and all you have to do is deliver the masterpiece, which will give you a huge score boost!
