Hide & Secret: Kudos!

Great game!
Why all the negativity folks?
We all love MCF, myself included, but we can't keep expecting every similar game to be on par with it, it's NOT the same game and it wasn't meant to be.
Judge it on it's own merits, it's not Ravenhearst, it's Hide & Secret and I think it's a ton of fun, and very well done.

The more of these types of games that come out, the better, since it's a long wait between MCF releases.
There are no mini puzzles in between levels, but the lack of those puzzles are more than made up for, by the increasing number of items you need to find as the game progresses.

I love the interactivity in this game, when the Tomb Raider style characters come out to give you the thumbs up for finding a hidden object.
The character voices and images are a great addition to this fantastic game.

Great graphics and sound, a whole lot of fun as a stand-alone game.

Who cares if it's not the same as MCF, people place too much importance on that series, as great as it is, but c'mon folks, give credit where it's due, and this game deserves credit.

As I said in my Mysteryville review, it is not MCF, and it wasn't meant to be MCF.

H U G E thumbs up, I loved it, and hope you bring out a sequel.

Not worth buying

This game was way too simple. Beat it without having to go past my trial 1 hour time.

Yes, it's not Mystery Case Files, but come on. When there is no challenge to a game, what is the point of offering it for sale?

I need some challenge to my games, and I also don't like the 2 characters whizzing by on the screen every time you locate an item. I could only click two items at a time, otherwise the game wouldn't recognize that an item had been clicked once the others had been cleared off the screen.

Why? Because I had to wait for one of the two characters to appear on-screen and have the item fly into their pack. If I hadn't been forced to wait for that EVERY SINGLE TIME I found something, I could have finished this game in half the time.

Ridiculous. Play the demo, but don't bother with buying it. I don't see the point in buying Mystery Case Files, but at least those games take MUCH longer to finish, and provide more of a challenge - or even something of a challenge. Plus, the graphics are better than this game.

Hide and Secret? Two thumbs down. One of the worst games I have ever played, and that's saying a lot!

Not the most well-done game I've ever played...

I fully enjoyed all of the MCF games (especially Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst), and Hidden Expedition: Titanic and Little Shop of Treasures were also well-done in this same vein, but I was fairly disappointed with Hide & Secret. The interface was sluggish for me personally, I got annoyed by the characters darting across the screen to collect the objects, and the voice acting was rather shoddy (maybe this is an unfair judgment considering that I've done a couple of voice-overs myself, but I digress). The graphics in the rooms themselves were good, but on the characters? I've honestly seen better in free fan-created games. The concept had promise, if one could get past the poorly-drawn and poorly-voiced characters.
