Oldie but a goodie.
This is one of those old, old games that I still have installed. Sure, the graphics are not up to snuff by today's hardware accelerated standards, but how could we resist the cuteness of ... vegetables who go "yipee"?
Harvest Mania is a simple match-4. Vegetables/fruits/flowers will randomly grow in your field each turn, and you have to click and find a new location to match 4 of the same veg. Notice the unfairness - there could be 10 veg growing each turn and you can only move 1. So good planning is definitely needed. Since veg doesn't grow to full-growth in a single turn, you can either move a veg on top of a growing veg to stop it from growing, or plan a match-4 coming up.
Now, matching only happens in a square or similar rectangular shape, so you can link up a whole map full of veggies and then make that final match to chain up combos. Each season has different vegetables to harvest, and a required number that you need to harvest. All of them are extremely cute. They giggle and go yipee. :)
As you progress in the levels, you can trade the vegetables you have harvested into "stuff" to decorate your farm with. They're nothing more than animated sprites, but you can save off a picture to use as your wallpaper. Nothing fancy, but it's progress. Great for playing with a kid, actually. |

Great
Wow Exciting game is great makes you want more with perfect mix if gameplay,sound and graphics but still i think grphics should have been worked upon some more but anyways a good game. |

Cute but repetitive
This game has a cute mood to it, but is very repetitive and can be frustrating. As well, it had no instructions at the beginning as to how to play on the most basic level, which made it confusing to follow. |

Little zest but not much
I found it hard to be stimulated by just arranging 4 fruits and vegetables in a grid. The sounds the little guys make are annoying.
The game play is slow. The advancement...who knows.
If you want adventure this game isn't it. If you want to do something to surpass the time, then this game will help you. You won't be able to play for long because it's a slow game. Truly good for younger kids although they will probably get bored quick.

There are 2 game mode to choose to play from in this game
The action mode- in a field cute vegetable character would pop out by times and u got to click one of them and place the similar color character into square of 4 and the rest that similar color and is connected to the square will also be harvest.A target is to be reach every different levels.
The classic mode- in a field in the same way cute vegetable and u had to match them into square but this time round the creature will pop out only after u complete one movement of one creature.
Both had the same rule in the vegetable creature fill full the field be4 u manage to harvest them,u will lost
Finally the funniest part come
U could use the number of vegetable u had harvest to purchase and unlock items for ur farm and decorate the farm urself
As game goes along more item r unlock,u could decorate a perfect farm in different ways.
