Too many problems

This looks like a really cute game, but it has way too many glitches. It's much more like a simulation game than a puzzle game. Since I love simulation games, that's ok with me. But it gets very frustrating very fast.
You start out with a small pride of lions, and you need to teach them where to get food, and how to restore the totem that will help the pride to grow and clean up the savannah.
Basically, you have to pick up the lions by their scruff and drop them onto the thing they need to work on. You also have to keep an eye on their health, because working exhausts them and they need to eat to restore their health points.
Now what makes this frustrating is that you can't scroll through your lions - you have to select them on the screen. Try doing that with about fifteen cubs running around and several of them have not only the same color, but also the same name! And whereas the cubs know how to keep themselves healthy by eating, the adults don't - you have to keep them from starving by monitoring them.
The other problem with this game is the more lions you have, the more problems crop up with your mouse "sticking" and the game running haltingly. It is also hard to navigate the scenes - you have to put the mouse exactly on the arrow at the edge of the screen, otherwise the scenes won't shift.
Finally, the tasks seem to take far too long: would you enjoy to drop lions about 200 times onto the same garbage pile to clean it up? And it's really like herding a pack of cats - their attention span is so short that they work maybe three seconds at something, then they wander off. Granted, they might come back to the task, but again, they might not.
So I'd say to the developers: learn from Virtual Villagers and from the Westward series, remake the game, and it'll be fantastic!

why am i still watching this?

It started out as a fun game. I like the fact that you teach them everything. it makes sense to start at such a point. the difference in skills even give it depth. but then comes the point that you have cleared the tree and the first part of the sludge and you get a pride that you can let them do yobs on there own. Only to find out that you can't leave them alone because the game will pause when the screen loses focus. WHY? do I have to keep watching then walk around while I wait for them to complete a job?

Started out good....

This game started out very good, I agree and liked the fact that you taught the lions everything but then so much "demo time" was lost waiting for them to complete a job. The graphics were cute but I don't see this being a game I would buy.
