This game has fallen into oblivion...

This game looks gorgeous, and will have most people drooling with anticipation. Unfortunately, it is far too hard, even on the 'very easy' difficulty level. I had more fun shooting the golf balls into oblivion or burning them in the lava, rather than putting them, which meant I didn't get beyond the first level. The game counts down the chots you have remaining to complete the course - so a mistake, a deviation, or having fun by doing odd things costs you. The tutorial was more fun because it gave you unlimited shots (and shooting golf balls into oblivion never gets old). If the designers had thought outside the box on this one, they could have had a hit on their hands. Instead, it's just an exercise in frustration...

its ok, little on the hard side

I was thinking this would be a pretty easy game to play, but turns out its challenging almost to the point of being impossible. I wasn't even playing on hard and it took me about 10 tries to get thru the first round.

The graphics are really nice, but I noticed on the second round that they actually got in the way of seeing my shot. I had to do alot of fiddling around to get the hole to where I could see it, only to shoot my ball and have it come up short, then some robot comes and pushes it into the lava (without fail) and I had to start again with the whole process.

If you like mini golf and a challenging AND frustrating game, then this is for you.

as for sound....what sound??? a mostly silent game (maybe cause it's golf heehee)

Where No Golf Ball Has Gone Before

Miniature Golf In Outer Space! Your mission: To boldly go where no golfer has gone before! Strange and beautiful 3D worlds await as the adventure unfolds, and your only weapons are your swing and a little white ball. Fully interactive tutorial helps you get started; Five different worlds to explore; Four challenging levels within each world; Three difficulty modes: Normal, Extreme, and Insane; Three different cameras to get the perfect angle on your shots.

Don't let the negative reviews put you off. Yes! The game is hard - but no harder than an actual miniature golf course. The graphics are fantastic! I believe the real reason computers were made was so we could play games like this one. As soon as I am done typing this review, I am purchasing the game from Reflexive.
